Just got a call from Sallie Mae for this number.Due to unemployment, my government student loan is over 120 days past due and right now I refuse to apply for a Forebearance. I asked the foreigner to identify his company and he finally did. I then stated that I would gladly talk to an American born citizen. He said something about I could call the main Sallie Mae customer service number and I replied that it repeatedly went to the Phillipines. While I was talking he hung up on me. This is the seventh phone number that has been used in the last two weeks. I am collecting them in my cellphone and when they call I open the cellphone to hopefully document receiving the phone call on my detailed monthly phone bill. Below is how I have coded the phone numbers into my cellphone. I do not mind talking to an American born citizen every two weeks, but I will not be talking to two different companies with three different departments everyday.# 1 SLS 317-849-6510# 2 SLS 888-272-5543# 3 SLS 866-905-8941# 7 SLS 317-578-6000# 4 SAC 317-594-1043# 5 SAC 800-635-3786# 6 SAC 866-822-8601

Received a call from this number on my cell phone. No message was left. I don't believe it is really Sallie Mae. I never had a student loan. I suspect it is just another scam using random dialing.

At first the message was so bad it sounded like "this is sodomy servicing", puzzled I had to check this out. They use up my minutes to make a collection call for a debt that I personally do not own - some had given them my number as a reference. I want my number removed from the system

This really is Sallie Mae, they call me about every 6 months asking me to repay my loans. Too bad a diploma is not worth the paper it is printed on in America

I owe money
This is a collection call from Sallie Mae. You can't really call them back on it because it's an automatic calling service from audix. The company calls you randomly and if you answer it then calls Sallie Mae and they tell you that they want money. That's the best info I can give. P.S. if you pay them... they stop calling for a while.

I keep getting calls from this number for a Nicole Weigle(sp). I have told them that they have the wrong number and that they are calling a cell phone yet they keep calling. Sometimes early in the morning. I think its a collection call but im not sure. I called it back and they said it was Audix and ask for an ext. that I dont know.Very annoying.

i received a call from this number at 6:25am. no message. when i called it back i got a message saying "your call is being answered by Audix, please enter an extension number". 625AM!!! WTF! aren't there laws about calling times for any business?

These people keep calling after being told the person they are looking for does not live here. Sallie Mae says that they don't have my number in their system, and they have no clue which of their collectors would be calling me.

Got a call from (317) 578-6000 today. Says it's from Sallie Mae pertaining to returned mail relating to my daughter. Claims they are servicing her student loan. My daughter is mentally handicapped and has never applied for a student loan nor has she ever gone to college. Sounds like another scam, like the ones that tell you that your warranty is about to expire (only you don't have one).
