RE 502-213-2798 Dec. 12, 2012 Apprx 8:00 AM Mt. Time. I did all the below through the Internet and on my cellphone, while brewing my morning coffee and baking biscuits for breakfast. It took me forty-five minutes, including coffee and biscuit time and cleanup of the breakfast dishes. I had been receiving forty to fifty calls per day from the above number. This number is now provided through Level 3 Communications, Inc., North American Headquarters,1025 Eldorado Boulevard, Broomfield, CO 80021, 1-720-888-1000. Also 1-877-253-8353. Level 3 Communications bought out TelCove after that company failed due to the corruption under it's previous company name Adelphia, which had previously been Hyperion. Apparently, corruption is still a company problem. COMPANY FRAUD NUMBER: 1-800-348-5457: I called the FRAUD number and made my complaint of forty to fifty calls per day from this number and within minutes the calls stopped. I asked who operated this number, who was their customer. I got a supreme "run-a-round" from the FRAUD person stating the number was inactive and this must be a spoof racket, or that it was a private number and covered by federal privacy laws and they could not give out the name of the customer. I stood my ground and stated "No, this is not a spoof racket, this number is current and operated through your company!" I further stated that:"This number is provided by your company to a federally financed non-profit or company acting as agent for various government jurisdictions around the nation, therefore; the customer name, contact and address are not protected by privacy laws as government holds no right to privacy. I want that name or Level 3 will be the primary respondent party name in the litigation." I was routed "upstairs" to someone in the company legal office who stated they would take the information, research it and call me back with whatever they could release. Within 15 minutes of speaking to the Level 3 FRAUD employee, the calls from 502-213-2798 stopped. Clearly, Level 3 Communications Inc. has immediate power over the use of the phone number.

This is a call notification to victims to update status of an incarcerated offender. They kept calling my number but I did NOT register it so I have called Dept. of Corrections so they will locate victim and remove my number. VINE is legal and they are trying to help victims. My message gave me another number to call and talk to a human being. I suggest you do the same.

An automated message stated that this was a call from the South Carolina Department of Corrections and I must enter my PIN Number. If I do not enter it, I will receive a call every two hours until I enter it. I have nothing to do with any Department of Corrections so there is no reason that I should be called by them.
