Just got a call from this number. I called the carrier listed above "LUCRE INC" and they said all they can do is take the number and mine and block that number from calling mine. So that is what I did. Will see what happens. They said it takes up to 48 hours. Maybe if enough people do it they will cut them off period. I doubt it but whatever I guess.

It was a credit card scammer. Answered one call, another went to voicemail (no message left). I set up call screening on the number. Reporting to DoNotCall can only do so much. The number is spoofed or hacked and used by offshore criminals to run credit card scams. The key is to not provide _ANY_ information to the caller. Don't respond at all. If that number gets blocked, they just move to another.

Got a phone call (2:36pm) from an out-of-state number that I didn't "know" or recognize. (Does this mean that they are involved in Interstate Fraud?) They, of course, left no message. As always, I didn't answer, but looked up the number here. I am on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for over a couple of years now. (I guess this is our government at work for us.) I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints AND to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls. (Yes I will go through all those steps.) [I have also bookmarked these URL's.] I have also assigned a silent ringtone to this number. (I am up to 46 now.) We should all pile on.
