Said they were calling from the credit union to verify recent transactions.
It’s a spammer. I would not give them the last 4 digits of my debit card they asked “to verify” my Redstone bank account.
Received a call from a woman with Asian accent telling me they wanted to speak with ....... to verify recent transactions on a credit card on behalf of Redstone FCU as part of a transaction review.
Claim to be my credit union in Kansas, but calling from Omaha with no details about the charges that are supposedly on my debit card
Woman who sounded like she had a thick Asian accent said she was calling from the bank. Asked about purchases over past few days. Then said she would "refreshen" the card. When asked what that meant, she said the card had been flagged as potential fraudulent use and would have been frozen within a couple of days if the purchases hadn't been verified.
Redstone federal credit union transaction review......
“This is a message for … we are calling from the transaction review department on behalf of Redstone FCU to verify recent transactions on your debit card please return our call at … any representative can ***ist you we are open 24 hours a day seven days a week thank you…”
I too have a visa issued by my credit union and this number "is calling from the brands action review department...". Called me last night and this morning. Seemed fishy to me so I called my verified visa fraud department number. She said I had no fraudulent transactions. So this number is fishing for information. Don't call back!
called about my credit card from my bank that is a credit union. Says he is calling on behalf of a company called Leading edge to verify my transactions on my credit card. Called 2 times last month and a couple this month. My bank has no idea about it. It's a scam that does not want to go away. Oh, it's out of Omaha Nebraska.
This number has called two previous times. Then the caller ID said telemarketer. The third time it said Fiserv. I've let it go to voice-mail all three times. They're calling from the Grand Nation review department on behalf of (unintelligible) about a recent debit card transaction. My bank is local. There is no national branch that would call me.
This person just called saying that they were with redstone federated credit union. They wanted to know if I had just made a purchase.
Non stop calls all times of days and nights
Disconnected as soon as I answered. Called back 3 times. Rings once and disconnects
They never have a person pick up the line but leave a message about health insurance sometimes and government data the next
This number calls various times of the day and evening asking for a Dylan Travato whom i never heard of claiming to be from a customer svc of my bank. Definitely Fraud.
Wanting credit card information.
wanted to verify Visa account. Scam, phishing for my information.
Claimed to be calling on behalf of my bank asking me to call an 800 number to verify my transactions. They new my name and bank. The 800 number wanted my card number and such. I’ve dealt with my bank’s transaction review department before and this was definitely just a scam.
A computer computerized voice. Knew my name & bank. Claimed to be verifying charges for my bank on my visa. Requested I call 800-622-1361, open 24/7. Number they called from was 402 609 5706. I called my bank's card service and reported it. They said it was definitely a scam!
Very bad computer computerized voice. Knew my name & bank. Claimed to be verifying charges for my bank on my visa. Requested I call 800-622-1361, open 24/7.
It was a female computerized caller saying to call a 800 number to verify my card number but when the caller said my name it said it wrong to the point I knew it was bad news.
It is a computerized message, which did know my name, but claims to be a credit card verification service. They leave an 800 number to call back to verify the transaction. I did not call because it is a phishing scam for bank information.
States it is a transaction verification for your credit or debit card with Legacy Texas Bank and gives you an 800 number to call back and verify. The 800 number asks for your card number which us a spam red flag. I spoke to Legacy Texas Bank corporate and they said their verification service does not ask for your card number or social security number to verify transactions.
