Same old story, different number comes up. Trying to reduce my credit card rate, blah blah blah. They tell you press 2 to be removed from the calling list...yeah, ok. tried that, think it made it worse. Daily harassing calls sometimes multiple times a day. Thought we were rid of it with the DNC registry. Seems that worked for only a while and the spammers figured a way around that.

Robocall: "This is your 2nd and final call about your credit card. To lower your interest rate..." First time they called I asked them to put me on their do-not-call list but before I could finish the sentence they hung up. They called again today. I asked who, specifically, they were trying to reach. They gave the name of my father, who does not live with me. I told the that and again, in mid-sentence to ask them to not call again, they hung up. I have received approximately 5-6 messages on my answering machine from them as well. They will not stop calling. I have reported them to the FCC and FTC and I have placed my number on their automated do-not-call list and the National do-not-call list. According to several telemarketing complaint websites, the number is associated with a company in Michigan, LUCRE INC. 4011 Plainfield Av. N.E. Grand Rapids Mi 49525 Ph: 616 361 0128. I called this company and they are aware of the problem and said these people are "hiding" behind their company and are not affiliated with them in any way. The wonderful lady I spoke to said she has even received a called from them herself and when she confronted the person on the line, this person told the lady to go to ****. This company has received so many complaints on several websites and I assume that hiding or "spoofing" their number behind the legitimate company is illegal. Please, please investigate these people!

Credit Cards shows in Caller ID. This could be forged. Automated system that called me and hung up...leaving number trail to call them back. Its a voice recording that gives you 5 options; #1 Speak with a customer service representative #2 To be placed on their Do Not Call List #3 To leave a voice message #4 To report your concerns to the proper agency #9 Repeat list. I did not bother with any one of the options since doing so would only confirm your number to be active.

Got a phone call (10:41am) from an out-of-state number that I didn't "know" or recognize. (Does this mean that they are involved in Interstate Fraud?) They, of course, left no message. As always, I didn't answer, but looked up the number here. I am on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for over a couple of years now. (I guess this is our government at work for us.) I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints AND to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls. (Yes I will go through all those steps.) [I have also bookmarked these URL's.] I have also assigned a silent ringtone to this number. (I am up to 49 now.) We should all pile on.

when I ask them to remove me from their call list, the piece of trash that answers the phone isn't even man enough to acknowledge me after I begin speaking. I hope he and his other employees (especially the owner) of this piece of trash company die in a fiery car wreck.

The house is registered to Philip M Waalkes Home (616) 741-9331 122 E Central Ave Zeeland, MI 49464-1718 This scam is to drive traffic to web sites. Google the number and there are several other scammers who will charge to 'look' up the owner. Also, they drive so much traffic to their web sites that companies like Subaru will place ads on their pages. It is like the glass installer that can drum up business by breaking a few windows. Notice that no one has bought anything from 616 or even know what the product is.
