I got the same call from this number today at 3:33 p.m., while on vacation in Florida. When I called the number back, the message I got was that the number was a non-working number or out of service.

said they were for nj police dept fund drive ,gotta be a scam

Received call while not home.  Caller ID said "Jersey City NJ" at 8:19pm. They left no message. We are on Do Not Call list.

Just rec'd. a call (5:34pm EST in NJ). I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. Caller ID said "Jersey City NJ."

Rec'd the call at office at 11:37am when I answered I got a jingle then **** up

I was not home a message was left to call. I called. The answer was to leave my number as on a "do not call list". Makes no logical sense to me.

Claimed to be PBA soliciting ....  I did not hear the conversation, but "they" tried to get a donation of (at least) $15... I finally tried to convince my wife to say "NO" and **** up... She sometimes gives out too much personal information. There are electronic devices available (for a price) that can show ANY Caller ID the caller desires... The called party has no way of knowing. BE CAUTIOUS, OUT THERE!! Mine showed "Unknown Name"--

I received the phone number at 8:00 on a Thursday night.  I said "hello" twice and they ***g up without a response.  This is the second time they called.  The first time the number just showed up on my caller ID, as we weren't home.

It's people IMPERSONATING PBA- do not give them the time or day or a nickel!

Another web site, and gee there are quite a few of these now, say that this is the PBA looking for a donation.

These idiots called, but they didn't leave any message.
