this number keeps calling me and when i attempt to call it back i get "sorry but your number can not be completed...."

Called 3 times in less than 2.5 hours. Won't leave a message. second two calls were literally back to back.

When I returned the call, I got the following Message: "Sorry, but your call cannot be completed."

Latest update. This creep, is in Bergen County NJ. I phone the local Es*** County sheriff and they referred me over to Bergen County NJ Sheriff Department. I was advised to tell everyone to report the phone calls to your local police. They then will phone the Bergen County NJ Prosecuter and Sheriff Department. You do not need to phone Bergen County Sheriff Department. Their phone number is 201-210-5973 if you do not believe your own reverse directory, like me. However I am following the advi*****t of The Bergen County Sheriff Department and filing a report, with WA State police! Many years ago, Es*** County did have the phone area code of 201, how they are doing this is beyond me? Remember everyone, this country of ours is still at War! *********, like to place fear in anyone. You need to be safe and make a formal complaint. I hope this helps everyone and we catch this creep? When they phoned me, they got the wrong person, and justice will win in the end. Anyone threatening you, to collect a debt, you ought to be able to return their call. A***n, threatening to show up at a private residence or **** ups, are all a***nst the law. This is no longer consider child play in the US. Please be kind to your local police department, and call in on their non emergency line. 911 is for immediate emergency only. We all need to band as one. Please follow through, good luck on the mission to catch, this creep.

Addition to my intial report. I have notifyed the Es*** County Police in Newark, NJ. When I tried to phone this number back, they have blocked my line. At first I thought it was a hospital phoning on a NJ family member, however after hearing the other complaints, this creep must be brought to justice! Telling someone you will be at there door!

I have recieved three **** ups from 201-210-5973. It is coming from the Es*** County New Jersey area! The **** ups are annoying, since I have friends & family who live in NJ. This should be reported by everyone who gets a phone call, as it could be coming from Newark NJ, which is not a good neighboorhood. The unkown, does not bother me, the "What is it?" however does. I am on the National do not phone list. I do not know how this creep, ever got my number, as I live on the West Coast, and have my number listed with our National do not call list? Received two calls from East Valley Financial from phone numbers 409/866-2117 and 507/329-2273. Neither phone number is a good number. A screener asks some generic credit related questions, then promises someone will call you back that has the ability to lower your interest rate. The closer makes some promises saying that you will be charged $700+ for a guaranteed lower rate. The problem arises when they s**** asking what your credit limits are, and for you to give them your credit card number. I told them if they were a legitimate company, that was "truly affiliated" with my credit card company as they professed that they would already have that information. Then I told them I NEVER give out my credit card numbers to people I don't know, and ***g up. I STRONGLY suggest that you do the same if you get a call from this company.

I asked them for thier website, located thier contacts, got thier address, and looked it up on google earth, From there I got the names and bussiness surrounding the address given, CVS, and a few other stores, and called asking for directions to Proactive Plannind Solutions, all responses were "I am sorry I don't know of anything like that around here" "There is not a business by that name anywhere near hear" and "Im sorry I don't konw what you are talking about" so bogus address, the number they call from is 201 210 5973 but call it and your forwarded to a bogus number that can't be connected, read the fine print at the very bottom of the webiste. the want to TEACH YOU how to manage YOUR own debt. for YOU! lol.

Just received a call from this number said they were from proactive so****ing? wanted to lower my interest rate on my mastercard if i qualified. i have a Mc but it is at 0% told them i was on the do not call list and take me off their list.

Male on the other end of the line stated he is calling about lowering the interest rates of my visa and master cards. Told I was not interested and I will deal with my card company. He further said he works with my card company I asked him to tell me which cards I have with which company, he just ***g up. These people are trying to make a living off of simple people but are so rude with it too.

These people call my house 50 times a day!

No one there when I answer, no message left when I don't

I have received 4 calls today from 210- 210-5973 . When I answer there is no one there and eventually the call ends. When I try to redial the number, I get a recording saying that this is not a working number.

These company as I see above is calling and I'm suppose to be on the NO CALLS LIST???

These idiots keep calling evne though I'm on the don't call list.

Someone actually talked with me using a different phone #. They are East Valley Financial solicitors regarding Visa & Master Cards at 5% interest. I am on the national registry of Do Not Call. Looks like it's time to take more actions.

I followed up on the information provided by "hmag" below for East Valley Financial. I was****ured that my name would be removed from the automated dialing, including this one. We'll see. Since they had my name and telephone number, I was informed that this information was provided by Equifax and other credit reporting agencies, who sell their lists. Wonderful how that happens! Thank you, "hmag" for your detective work.

Calls 1-2 times per day. Recording says to wait. You've got to be kidding! Harassment!!!

How frustrating!I get called from this number several times per week.The FTC website says to report it to your cell phone carrier.I called AT&T to report it and they informed me that for $4.99 per month I can pay to block up to 15 phone numbers from calling but there is no database for phishing calls.I am on the National Do Not Call list so these calls are illegal but no one seems to care.Grrrrr.

they called my cell at 3:45 PM PDT on 4/1/10-a pre-recorded womans voice, congratulations you have been selected for new lower rates on your credit card.  Please press 1 to be connected to an account manager, 2 to decline this offer.  In the past when I have pressed 1 for similar calls and asked to be taken off their call list, I am always ***g up on quickly.  No name or company is ever ID'd in these annoying solicitations.  This is the northern NJ area code.

these people s****ed calling once a week- i was never able to answer until a week ago. it was a lady who knew my name and was asking if i was interested in making extra money. since the time that i answered, there have been calls every day, but they always disconnect before i can answer. i try calling them back to get my number removed- but there's a non-automated recording of a guy saying 'sorry, but your call cannot be connected' over and over.

Theses people are trying to steal your iden***y.  They claim to be from Visa/ mastercard.  They are not.  Do not answer.

I received a call from this # on my cellphone. The man claimed to be from Visa/Mastercard and wanted to see if I was interested in getting my interest rate lowered and would I answer a few questions?  I ***g up.  Mastercard NEVER calls my cell.  Only calls my home phone.  When I called the # later on to confront the guy, a bogus message comes on saying the call couldn't be completed.  What idiots they are!!  They really think people are that ******?

I got a call from an unknown number.  I don't even bother picking it up.

Sounds like a scam to me.  When I get calls from unknown numbers I won't answer.  And if it's legitimate, they would leave a message.

I got a call today from this number also! I had a call that seems similar to Cliff on 2/19 with a man asking about my credit card debt and interest rates, was willing to work on my behalf to lower them. I said that would be great can I call you back, he said that he would contact me a***n because it was a non-profit and were not allowed to give out information unless your accepted for the service??? WHAT? It must be some type of scam because they didn't leave a message.

This number just called me and the man on the line said he was with a credit card company.  He did have my correct name only he called my work number.  When I told him he called my work number and I was working , he ***g up.  I only have a debit card and I order with it all the time on-line.  I usually put my work number and address on my deliveries as I work all the time.  Wonder if that's where they got my info?  I order from Amazon alot.

My wife got the call also - claimed he could lower my wife's rate on her visa card. Only problem is she doesn't have a Visa Card... Wanted the social security number.... We ***g up after that...

The person calling me identified himself with a credit card company but did not say which one.  He only offered a lower rate and I interrupted him and said that he called my work cell phone and that I wasn't interested.  He immediately ***g up.  Very shady, beware!

I have been receiving calls twice a day from same number. No messages left.
