Called my phone and did not leave a message. Apparently the DNC law in this country means nothing to these vultures! SPAMMING SUX
I am on the DNC list and have asked them to remove my number a few times. It says 10 weeks !! Why should we have to wait while some bank breaks the law? Make a mistake with them and the fees start rolling in without delay !!
Call came from Bayonne, New Jersey to Kansas at 1304 hours CDT on 4-30-11. Call not answered and no message left. -CID- said "US Bank". Other sites report this outfit alleged to be "affiliated" with US Bank and wanted to discuss credit card rates.Rossi
I received a call, received an offer, but when pressed on a credit line, the woman couldn't respond and ultimately hung up. I called the number, rec'd an 800 number to call, called it, and after a transfer was given the EXACT SAME OFFER and it was from US Bank. Whatever US Bank, well, I think it is THE US Bank, but can't be sure.
Call came from New Jersey to Kansas at 19:46 hours CST on 12-6-10. Call not answered and no message left. Caller ID said "US Bank". Another poster advised that he has an account with US Bank and spoke with someone from this number who advised that they were "associated" with the US Bank, and was pitching a credit card with zero interest for the first year.
Received the call this morning, they didn't leave a message. I called it back and got a recording from US Bank. It does give you an option to opt out of any telemarketing from them, press "1", then your phone number and you will be placed on their do not call list in up to 10 weeks.
I'm bothered by it several times a week. Yes I do bank with Bank of America and no it's not a silicited call from this addy. It's just a marketing auto format for a new line of credit. At least they provide a "do not call" option if you return the no message call.
(201) 215-1712 7/16/2010 10:07am Caller ID = US Bank. I answered the phone and an agent identified herself as Lindsey L. calling on BEHALF of USBank offering me a US Bank Visa Platinum card. I let her get her script out, verified her name, what she was selling and where I could find more information on the web. I then indicated that I was not comfortable doing this kind of business by phone and requested to be placed on DO NOT CALL. Lindsey agreed to comply with my request, read me an official statement that I may continue to receive calls for up to 30 days and offered me this number to contact USBank directly to be removed from the call list:
Also received a call from number 201-215-1712, they represented them selves fro US BANK and asked for my mother, they new her name ???
Caller ID displayed US Bank 2012151712 no message was left. I called the number back, and a recorded message gave an option to be taken off the marketing calling lists for US Bank. The message stated that our number will be removed from the calling lists within 10 weeks.
Unknown caller from New Jersey. Number was not familiar, so I didn't answer, and no message was left.
Why would someone from that area code be calling us? Half the calls that come across are spam/scam these days. Since they didn't leave a message, we can only be suspicious of their intentions.

They didn't say they were US Bank, or any bank, but the call came from this number. A man asked for me, then when I said "this is she", he said, "sorry, I have the wrong number" and hung up. I bank with US Bank also. These slime bags!
Robo Call about a marketing survey for a bank
It is US Bank wanting to offer a credit card.....LOL I applied for a credit card from US Bank.....and they denied me.... I called 1800 530-9454 and had my number removed from their list.
Call shows up US Bank. They call a few times a week and if we do pick-up they disconnect.
This number said US bank as well. Did not leave a message and since I have no business involvement with US Bank I did not answer the phone and did not recognize the number.
call shows up as us bank
This call is from a bank that is being investigated by the feds for unsavory practices. Universal Savings Bank NOT the US BANK for which I am a customer. Somehow they have the means to get into your credit report and find out if you use US Bank. They then call you and pretend that they are your bank untill you press them further and you find out that they are not who you thought they were. They count on the fact that most people with caller id and use US Bank will pick up. Once you do that you have made a connection and by proxy have accepted them as a valid business association. Thus, the do not call list does not apply to them. This is THE big loophole in the Do not Call law. Somebody with deeper pockets needs to sue them otherwise I would!
Got the call today, caller id identified it as U.S. Bank, I didn't answer, I got on line, went to U.S. Bank and checked for messages, there were none, end of story.
They've called me before. It's some bank in New Jersey I think. I answered it and asked for me Mom, but she wasn't some so he said they'd try back later. No idea what that was about; I live in Kentucky.
Do not even pick up the phone when they call it is a fake. I called US Bank and they said that they DO NOT have anyone where this call is coming from and that US Bank will NEVER ask for information or send out offers over the phone.
keep calling, want to talk to my husband. I tell them he's not here.We do have a loan with them, but they call at night and on weekends, strange hours for this!!!
they call me daily too, Jessica. they ask for my dad and they're so annoying!
They called asking for my brother. He doesn't live with me. They call my house daily.
A man called (Caller ID said US Bank) and said he was with US Bank (my bank) and wanted to sign me up for a VISA Platinum card with no interest for a year & I could transfer all my other credit cards over to this card without charge, right now over the phone ... no interest for a year! ... I immediately thought, How the [email protected]#k am I going to do that without revealing all my account numbers?... in order to sign up ... they wanted all of my info, my name (spelled out), my address, my phone number ... I did give him that much info (but I think he already had that)I stopped him and said before I go any further, how much is the interest on the card after the first year expires? ... he kind-of hesitated and said it was a competative 11 UHHH 11.25 percent. Then I asked him about transferring all my other credit cards over to this one ... over the phone ... tonight? He said ... well, if you are uncomfortable with that we could let you do it after we set up your account.I asked him "Will it be free if I do it later?”He said there could be a fee then. I said I was uncomfortable going any further with this and thought if he could send me the documentation with the terms and conditions, I could go over it with my wife. He said that they had already sent me the documents on the offer once (I did not tell him this but I have never seen them)He said well I only have a few more questions and you will be all signed up ...I just need to ask you ... where I worked, what the address was for my work, how much I made ... I asked, “You are US Bank … Right?”He said he was affiliated with US Bank.I said, well I’ve been banking with US bank for about 12 years now and have direct deposit. I think US Bank already knows all of the information you are going to ask me for. This is BS, if you really were US Bank, you would have sent the offer out with my last set of checks. I said, I’m done here! I am not interested! Do not call here again!
Called and didnt leave a message but could hear talking in the background and what sounded to be like the caller making noises into the phone before hanging up. Caller sounded to be a female.
