Got a call from this number too. The caller identified the company as MRS - BTO LLC and said his name was Justin Donahue... I asked him what the call was in reference to, He said " A personal business matter Sir" and I replied O.K. what's it about... He replied "A personal business matter Sir" and I said OK what is the matter" He said "It's a personal business matter Sir" I said " Well I am not taking any calls about personal business matters" Thanks and Good bye...

Caller did not identify himself. Asked for Kirk. I told him he had a wrong number. Asked if I knew Kirk. I told him no. He then whined that he didn't give me the last name. I said no, but I don't know a Kirk. He then got sarcastic and said thanks for the at***ude. I asked for his supervisor, but of course he ***g up instead.

I called the number back and they call themselves MRS. When asked what they do, they ask your infomation and don't give theirs. Never give out your information, that is what they want.

researched this a bit and it is definitely MRS****ociates.  They have offices in P***nix, AZ - Cherry Hill, NJ and New Albany, OHThey use a cell phone # in Illinois (224)-588-8816 and other #'s from various states.Here's a link to a website and forum that's done more research than I have done.  Just copy and paste it into the address bar.  They don't seem to have a good track record with dealing with the people they are going after.  The site lists many steps that can be taken to get them to leave you alone or atleast deal with you on the level and with respect.http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/forums/mrs-associates.htmlRemember, these people cannot have you arrested.  They could file a civil lawsuit to collect a debt but then you get a lawyer (or do it yourself if you are able) to have them produce all records/do***entation and chances are really good that they don't have them and it will be "Dismissed without Prejudice".  Then it's a matter of Statute of Limitations in your state until the debt can no longer be legally collected.  We should all strive to make good on our debts because it's important for the individual and the society but DO NOT FEAR THESE PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS DAY AND AGE OF MASSIVE DEBT AND CORPORATE/GOVERNMENT ROBBERY!

First call from this number....................please leave an f'ing message so I know who you are, why your calling and who you are calling for. ***. If your are a legit business, act like one for god's sake.

I get the same calls and now I have been into a site called:  http://www.donotcall.gov. You can block any number for free and it works.

I got a call from is number today and it was an automated service of some sort that was looking for my sister that does not live with me. I am Not sure if it is some sort of scam or a collection agency. I just pressed the number to have it stop calling my house.

I got a call from this number too, on my cellphone number which I don't give out to almost anyone.  I missed the call and there was no message.

For now, I've been using a friends cell phone until I get back on my feet.  This person has excellent credit and nothing in collections. No one has this phone number except possible employers for me, but I keep getting calls from this number.  It's quite annoying, especially at 6 am.

somebody called my cell number and did not leave nor answer the call.....very weird...my mom is an old lady and she feels stalked by ******s....only silence ***ody at the other end....

Same as LC said (here on 18 Feb 2010)As for being a debt collection agency, I doubt that. Why would they not say anything when the call is answered? There is only silence.

these people calls 6 or 8 times a day to several different numbers.....i would report them if i knew where to report.........my numbers are suppose to be on the do not call list

Undoubtedly a call from Verizon to pay the bill when it gets 20 minutes overdue.www-whocalled-us reports the line as belonging to Verizon. Bet you guys cell carrier is Verizon and your bill is over 30 seconds late!

Got a call from this number at 8am this morning - left no message

I just got a call from this number to my cell phone.

they call 8-10 times a day, leave no message, and if I answer the phone, there is no one on the other end, just silence, it is getting very annoying!!!

My mothers house line gets almost daily calls from this number. The caller leaves no message.They are MRS****ociates in Cherry Hill, NJ. A collection agency.
