caller would not identify self or company next time they call i'm going to call the fcc and report them as i am sighed up on the do not call list.

"John" also called on my land line from this number on behalf of Feature Films for Families requesting I go to see the Velveteen Rabbit when it comes to my area, and thanked me for being a customer of Feature Films. I told him I had never heard of this and he said it was ok, he would only take 40 seconds of my time. I agree, he did seem to have "canned answers and rebutals" for everything I said. Finally, I asked, "Is this a recording?"  He chuckled and said "Am I that bad?" I didn't say anything and he continued on. It did sound like some kind of recording that had voice technology to recognize and answer common questions, because "John" did seem to repeat himself often, and when he did answer me there was a slight pause before he did so.

You all purchased so****ing from Feature Films for Families, inc.  They call to promote films coming to a local theater, it is legit, though strange.

I got the same call on my house phone. Didn't answer, but got no message. Decided to google it to see what was up.

just got a call 5 minutes ago at 12:45 pm,2-26-09 I waited for a message there was none. so I googled it.

I received a call at 8:26p.m. last night from this number. no message was left, and I live in Portland, OR.

Got ****-up calls from this number Friday, 2/20. It is interesting that most of us (on this post) are in CO!!! Also recently went to GO Toyota on Arapa*** for service.  We have repeatedly asked to be removed from all of the lists of phones and addresses that they SELL to 3rd parties (we get snail mail from companies who have told us they got the info from Toyota, as well as some "warranty scam" phone calls and post cards from folks who apparently got it from them.     You ****, Toyota!

I got the same call everyone on this site is talking about around 7:00pm on 2/18/09.  I also recently gave my number to a Toyota service center.  I wonder if that is how we are all related.  Shortly after I got the call, my cell phone stopped working.  I don’t know if it had anything to do with the strange call, but it sure is disturbing to have a solicitor calling my cell phone.

I did not know the number so I did not answer it. I googled the number and came across this cool website. Sounds like this guy is a telemarketer smuck. Plus IT called at 7:30 pm, not normal business hours. I wonder also how smuck-boy got my phone number?

Received a call from this number on 2.18.09 at 8:21 PM, MT.  I did not answer, no message was left.Recently I was getting calls from the service department at Planet Honda, with whom I have never done business.  Wonder if they are related, like Bill in Denver mentioned with Toyota service dept.

This is the first telemarketing call to arrive on my cell phone in ten years.  ("John" promoting a movie.) I recently gave out the number to a local Toyota service dept.  I hope they didn't pass it on to these ****s.

I said I was in the middle of so****ing important and he then suggested that I go pound sand in my a**.  Not nice at all.

I called them back from another number that is not mine.  He answered and said he had called on behalf of producers.  I told him to stop calling but he would not stop trying to continue so I ***g up.

...same thing as "***?" mentioned.  Called saying they only need 40 seconds of my time.  Talking about the Velvetine Rabbit movie.  Told him this was a private cell #, and he said that they are just dialing random number combinations in the area.  I said fine, but this is a private number, and he said thanks and ***g up.  It was really weird....sounded like it was all recorded, and that there was a canned response for any question I asked.

They called my cell number, which I never give out.  I'm on a plan with only 50 minutes per month because I rarely use it.  I know, I'm a freak.  Anyway, he also said his name was "John".  I asked how he got my number and he said they just dialed random numbers.  I told him it was a cell and he was costing me money.  I said to take my name off his list.  He s****ed to say so****ing about a movie, but I was very abrupt and didn't let him finish.

Phoned my unlisted company cell phone @ 5:13pm on 2/18/2009.Caller stated that his name was "John" and he needed 40 seconds of my time to talk about production of a movie coming to theaters. He "assured" me this was not a sales call. After I stated "Ok" he thanked me for my time and ***g up... What the heck?

Yep I got one too, reverse search said it was from New Jersey, havent ever even been there, called it back and got a busy signal....Annoying!!

7:27pm Denver time (Feb 18) got a call about a "great new movie coming to theaters". He wanted 40 seconds of my time and****ured me it wasn't a sales call. I'm sure it was a recording and ***g up at that point.
