Leave a Comment1st call from Cooking Light and no message.
They have been calling almost every day for a week now. CAller id shows Cooking Light. I have a subscription that is about to run out and I was debating renewing. Now that they are calling and bugging me, I will not renew. They have lost a customer over these calls.
The call everyday and it shows up as Cooking Light on CID. I've just blocked it out w/Comcast.
They called the day before too. I actually picked up this time and it was a women trying to have me renew my Sunset magazine subscription. She couldn't*****ounce my last name, couldn't read the script, and stumbled her way through the whole conversation. Said she was calling from somewhere out east (Georgia or Alabama). I interrupted her blah blah blah and asked what she wanted, and she gave me the details of a cheaper subscription. I told her I wasn't interested and to take me off the list, while she was still yacking on and on. I ***g up and she was still yelling "Ma'am, ma'am!" down the phone.
201-257-4053 is a recorded message stating "Your Cooking Light Magazine Subsrciption" they will attempt to re-try at a later time. I never had a subscription to "Cooking Light"
I too have been bothered by these annoying calls. Even if you are registered with the "Do Not Call" .org registry they can still call you under the disguise of that you are an existing customer to their Cooking LIght magazine.Call Dial America's 800 number to have your name removed from their list.Suggestion: Cancel your subscriptions to Cooking Light!
No message left on vm, but line was open for a long time.
left line open on vm for about a minute.. dead air, no message left
Indeed it is a call from "Dial America" calling for "Cooking Light" magazine.Someone below was good enough to write in the 800 number which allows you to be place on their Do Not Call list. I did. It's amazing to me that even though I re-register every year with the National Do Not Call List I still get many calls. So much for our legislators passing laws covertly written by the telecommunications industry and telemarketers.
they call and they call and they call.... argghh! Call 800-932-1541 before 11pm and ask that they remove your name from the call list.... there was some comment about removing our number from the Special Olympic so****ing or the other.. FINE! JUST take the number off the list!...and NO, I don't want to renew the cooking light subscription! Guess this SpOlympic thing is the "trick" that allows them to keep calling even after the number is on the national do not call list!
appeared to be coming from mobile phone ... Caller ID s****ing?
So annoying. Have called EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. for over a week now. Never leave a message. Alternates between calling in the morning and calling at dinner time.If this is indeed Cooking Light - it makes me think long and hard about ever doing business with them...
says cooking light on caller id
Yeah, same with me (calls but leaves no message). I think it may be a student loan consolidation offer or so****ing like that.
Received a call...one ring and that was it. Called the number back. Got a recording that said the call was related to renewing a magazine subscription.
Calls and leave no message. Very annoying.
