They've called this morning a couple of times, said nothing when my husband answered.
866-590-6867 is the number that showed up on my phone. It was a man with an Indian accent I couldn't understand, I pretended to be interested but was having a hard time understanding him and he transferred me to his supervisor "Will", also with an Indian accent.I spoke with Will for a minute, I pretended to be interested in the company and what they were selling, he continued to****ure me that they not selling anything, they want to provide you with "complimentary" information. He verified an email address that i have not used in over five years. I didn't dare have him c****e it to the correct one. I was then transferred to someone named Stephania with an american accent. She was short and rude with me though I continued to be nice. I continually asked questions that would cause her to leak information about the company itself. She told me that they will have colleges in my area contact me with information, I asked what colleges, she couldn't answer, I asked if there was a direct line i could call back if i found a college in my area and wanted to know if it was involved in this program or not. She couldn't answer me, and transferred me to her supervisor Chris. Now Chris, was very polite. I complimented him on his politeness. (they probably don't hear that very often), I asked politely if there was a direct line i could contact back on if i had any questions about a college or anything else, he gave me this number 201-257-4210, I played nice and told him that I used to live in Jersey, where abouts are they? He admitted they are not actually in Jersey, they have an autodialer in Jersey with a Jersey number, they actually use call centers in the Philippines and India as initial contact, and they are actually physically located in ft. lauderdale, florida. I did not want to look su****ious so I did not ask him for a direct line into the ft lauderdale location. I will ask next time, as they have called me every month for about a year despite being on the do not call list and despite asking them EVERY TIME not to call a***n. I continued to pretend to be interested about the colleges and particularly about them. I believe he had s****ed to catch on this at this point so I asked him (in a "dumb" way) about a do not call list, and what happens if i say i don't' want to be contacted anymore. He****ured me that my name and number would be flagged as do not call and they would take my number out of the database completely, I advised him that if colleges are going to contact me they can do it via email or mail NOT PHONE (that email address is bunk so I don't' care if they spam the***** out of it. ) i fortunately have a PO box. and was able to give them that instead of my home address. I am promptly hitting up the local post office and having my box moved to a new number. ****ers.I was transferred back to Stephania who gave me the names of two colleges that apparently don't exist, National American and St. Leo. She could not tell me if they were online colleges or REAL colleges.I asked to be placed on the do not call list, she appeared to be doing it, but still got ****ed and ***g up. From what i understand thus far, in this year long battle with these ****s, is that telling the call center in india does no good, they don't have a do not call list, they don't particularly care either from the sounds of it. I advised everyone i talked to, in a nice way, that this was a cell phone and no one seemed to care at all. Play along until you get someone in america and ream THEM out to take you off. Take down names, try to get anything you can, address, direct line, etc, and do***ent everything. They may not be able to hold the call centers in india responsible, but they sure can hold american ft lauderdale locations responsible. Once you have an address, you can sue. Two other jersey #'s i've been called from are 201-257-4219201-373-8371I think they are all connected to the same autodialer.I squeezed a website out of chris: http://educationdecisionsonline.com/Can someone please squeeze an address out for me? LOL.
It is a waste of time to try to get off this calling listing!!!! It just doesn't stop. It's probably not even a real person calling, but an autodialer which means you'll either have dead air when you answer or the infamous "Please hold for an important call" message!
Continues to **** up
It is EDUCATION DECISIONS. They called me at 10 pm. they said they got my number from an online education company that i had inquired about. I did that months ago. What a nightmare.
We get calls all day but this one called at 9:50 p.m. on Aug 18, 2008It's illigle to call after 9 p.m. They said nothing when I answered.
Keeps calling and don't want to go to school.
"Online Education Services" Would now like to enter your email into a DATABASE for a SWEEPSTAKES even AFTER you've told them for the last six months to stop calling you AND entered your CELL PHONE into the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. Lovely.
This might be them.http://www.edref.com/school_list/worldwide-ed ... jersey-city-off
They say they're calling from "online education services", called every month for the past six months. today they called and asked if they could enter my email into a database to win a sweepstakes. Told him if he did, or if he called me a***n since i've asked them REPEATEDLY not to call me, he'd have a lawsuit and ***g up on him.
Got the call and they didn't leave a message. So called the number back and got a recording. It's a service that locates a school/university for anyone interested in earning a degree on-line.
Gives a ring and ***g up
Ignored the call, caller didn't leave a message.
