Got a call from 201-257-4535, Say I have a credit card from them, have no idea who they are, is this a scam?

Totally annoying. They call all the time. Is there a way that we can stop the harrassment?

my wife answered the call and some guy kept asking the same question, over and over a***n. she ***g up.

I got a call from these people.Hasbrouck He NJ1-201-257-***3Call came through at 8:40 PM Mountain Time.Guy asked to speak to Michael. I said "Yes, this is Mike." Then he ***g up.These people need legal action taken a***nst them.

201-257-4535, 240-389-6635, 201-373-8349, 616-597-4101, 571-283-6424Bogus interstate telemarketing activity from multiple numbers, obviously flaunting their latest "telephony technology" for ****a market and IT/corporate warfare; call-back to numbers yields identical recording and invitation to "remove" your phone number from calling list(destroy)

I answered the phone and a guy ask for my husband. I told him that he was not here could I take a message he just said no & ***g up.

THIS GUY FROM THIS NUMBER CALLS ME 4 TIMES A WEEK AND HARR***** ME.  He also makes rude noises into the phone and is generally very childish.  how do i stop it?

I wish they'd stop calling me... leave a message or leave me alone!

Just call from this number and others.  Caller ID says it is from HSBC customer service.  don't leave a message and I don't pick up calls that I don't know.

I answered the phone and they asked for my husband. I told them that he was not here and then a very sarcastic voice came over and said, "Well there is not message so I will just call back. Thank you so much!"They then called a***n later the same day and the same exact voice came on after I told them that he was not here. It must be a recording.

calls weekly asking for my husband...i never let him talk to him, the same guy every time says, "no, there's no message, i'll just try back another time"sometimes it shows up on caller id as "wireless caller" other times it is "unknown" with the same phone # every ti*****e first time he called he told me he was calling from HSBC, i'm pretty sure he's trying to sell the credit card protection.

Have received numerous calls from 201-257-4535 salesman says he is recording the call and confirms I am the person he is calling. Then he tries to sell me debt cancellation coverage ( credit card protection to pay off your debt if you die or are disabled) This is in reference to my Comp USA credit card ( they have since gone bankrupt). I tell him I do not want to purchase this coverage and he gets irate and says I will just call back a***n. My subsequent calls from this number now have a Tiger sound roaring in the background. Very *****y... this could really scare a child.Who is this and why can't they be stopped??

Asked for me by my first name, I said speaking and they ***g up

Phone call came the other night; no message.  It rang about 5 times and went to voicemail.

Person called and made a tiger sound on the answering ma****e. It frightened our child. Call was after 8PM at night.

Got a call from 1-201-257-4535, New Brunswic NJAnswered the call and a person asked to speak to me by name then it clicked over to an automated voice that said there was no message for me.

keeps calling and not leaving a message or answering line.

Called me twice, first time I didn't answer. a few hours later, called a***n and said "Hello is (called me by my name)there" I asked who it was, a the guy just repeated himself so I ***g up.

Phone rang 3 times..left no message. Caller id says New Brunswick, NJ.

called at night Husband answer was asking for me was told "she not here can I take message "   this is the same number that called when I got card from the "Red Hat Society" wanting me to order more the protect my number i said no thank you and ***g up(11-09-07)what can we do to stop more calls form that number?

Called @ 11:40am and ***g up before the ma****e answered  - 4 rings. I since have blocked the phone number and any fure calls from this number.These companies at some point need to be policed better. Calls like this are considered harassing phone calls in most states. And, in most states there is a stautes of limitation on certain debts - which means the credit card company gave up and wrote off the debt and now some third party bought the debt and will try to collect with complete disregard for FTC rules and local laws.  The worst of all the calls I get is that most who call are looking for guy named John - who I****ume had the phone number before it was given to me when I moved to my new home.

called at 1:23 PM, Nov 6th.  No message, no info, other than caller ID
