Leave a CommentThey call me about twice a day. It shows up as HSBC Card Services or wireless caller-201-257-4537. I have been fed up and just found where Stephen says you can press to and remove your number from the list. I tried it and it seems to have worked. They do say it takes 30 days.
If you call the number back and press "2" it will remove you from their call list. However, it does say that it could take up to 60 days.
The calls I receive are automated. The caller asks you to confirm your iden***y to their computer, which will say your name. If you try to talk to the voice on the line, it will continue to ask for verification. It does not give you an option to decline
I'm an idiot and already submitted this report under the wrong area code:These people continue to call and ask for someone with my husband's first name. When I tell them he is not available to take their phone call but he is my husband and I can help with any business they may have with him, they **** up. I have asked them to either explain their business, leave a call back number, or stop calling - they won't do any of these.
I'm having the same problem with this company - they call several times a week asking for my husband. When I ask for a callback number, or to take a message, they **** up. Any suggestions how to get them to STOP?
they call asking for my fiance.when i ask to take a message they say no thanks and **** up .
HSBC automated dialer with predictive voice recognition. Asked "is -my name- home?" I asked who was calling please and it responded with "I'm sorry I'll call back later, thanks" in a female voice. called the number back and had to press 2 and then dial my number to be removed. 5th call this week at least coming from different HSBC numbers in different states.
When they called they asked for myself and without annoucing who they were said for verification my computer needs to know your full name. At which time I promptly ***g up
keeps callin
I keep getting calls from this company each one with a different numberon our caller ID. I've got call blocker, I've put 3 numbers in there, they called a***n today (still another number). When they called todaythey ask for my husband, I said may I ask who's calling, they said HSBC.I said we don't have an account with you. She said the represent OrchardBank, Best Buy, and a couple of more credit card co.. I told her we don'thave any accounts with any of those co. And that we keep getting calls.
Just a number on the caller ID. If you call it back, it gives you the option to have your number removed from their lists by following the prompts. May take up tp thirty days, but I am trying it!
no message left or say it is not a sales call and to return call and use reference number
UNWANTED CALLS FROM HSBC.
Comeone called my house while I was gone and my mom answered. The guy said "Hey, is Kristan home?" My mom said he acted like it was a personal call and he knew me. The called ID came up wireless caller. When she said I wasn't home and asked to take a message the guy said "No, thank you for your time." and ***g up. I looked up the number only to find that it is one of my credit card companies. This makes me angry that they are withholding their name and pretty much trying to fool someone on the phone by acting like they are a friend or making it a personal call.
Received three calls within 5 minutes, without leaving a message. Caller id only showed "wireless caller". Did not answer and will not answer anyone without identifying themselves.
Can anyone help me out with legal issues on this one -- like many of you, we receive 3-4 calls per day from multiple numbers identified as HSBC Card Services. My husband (the cardholder) actually took one of these calls last week, spoke to the person calling, and told him "NO" to the credit insurance he was trying to sell. Since then, the calls still continue, 3-4 times a day! Do they have a legal right to keep calling, even when the offer has already been declined?? If anyone knows of any action we can take, please e-mail me at [email protected].
Its a marketing number for HSBC.
They called and talked to my wife asking for me. I was not home and they refused to tell her who they were.
