Just received and ignored a call from this number. The only thing better than Call Display is Call Blocking!
Tried to call me, I did not answer . . . As I suspected, I did not want to take the call anyway.
ATTENTION: do NOT SPEAK WITH these people and DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL INFO !!I suspect, the caller(s) from (201)257-4900 are ****PHISHING**** !!They're PHISHING for your phone number as well as ANY OTHER PERSONAL INFO ONCE THEY SPEAK WITH YOU, by FALSELY using a different & deceptive "covers", such as:[1] you won a vacation[2] your vehicle extended warranty is about to expire.A***N: do NOT SPEAK WITH these people and DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL INFO !!
Called my home here in TORONTO, CA***A; left no message.BEWARE!! ATTENTION: In case you call them back:NEW "PHISHING" INFO: A DECEPTIVE "phishing" type setup is in place with an amateur-sounding female voice on a cheaply recorded device which says:"You have reached The 'Telephone Removal System'. To be removed from any additional calls, please enter your telephone number, area code first."WARNING: They are fully aware that frustrated recipients' of their calls dial their number back in the hopes of discovering who they are so that they can request that they cease calling them, and when that frustrated recipient calls that number back, the deceptive and fake representation of the so-called "Telephone Removal System" is the SETUP to then COLLECT that persons' full telephone number, by deceiving the person into believing that they can immediately end any future calls to their home from that number, by simply leaving them a message disclosing their personal phone number!!
Recieved a call saying that my vehicle extended warranty was about to expire (which I have no extended warranties on my vehicles). It was a recording, and requested that if I wanted to talk to someone, to push #1
May these people rot in*****.
