I got just got 2 calls from this number today funny if its a collection call since I did not make my WAMU visa payment because they put a 10 day hold on my paycheck deposited in a new WAMU checking account, total ***holes

called twice today....then ***g up!~ JUST STOP CALLING ME!

Just called a few minutes ago (2/25/09) - shows up on caller i.d. as New Jersey. Never leaves a message. Very annoying. Why call if you don't leave a message?

I went to the FCC website and filed a complaint. They're calling every 45 minutes and it's really ****ing me off.

Caller does not leave a message. When I answer a recording says to hold to be connected. The recording then says sorry he couldn't connect you and ****s up. I called the number and I get a busy signal. I received 2 of these calls today and is very anoing!!! I hope these calls stop or these people get fined!!!

this guy tried to tell me i have a mastercard bill and how did i want to take care of that.i don't have a mastercard, what a *******. i tried berrating him off the phone, told him he has the info wrong, he insisted, he is willing to stay on the phone and push through. don't give him anything.

I get at least ten of these calls a day, I do not have a balance on this card so why are they calling and not leaving a message.

They call at least three times a day when I answer they **** up. If I do not answer they do not leave a message. I've called the number back and I get a busy signal.

These people call numerous times a day. I have actually lost count. They never leave a message and there is never anyone there when I pick up.

I have already spoken to this company and told them what is going on with me yet they continually call, s****ing at 800 am and ending aroung 9m, every day of the week.

WaMu calls even when your balance is PAID IF FULL!!!!!! I hate these people. I have had my WaMu credit card paid off for months and these *****s still call!

Caller s****ed calling a few days ago. They call numerous times daily. This needs to stop. Caller never leaves a message.

Calls my number 4-5 times a day but doesn't leave a message. Glad I looked online and found that I am not the only one with this problem. Did a google earth search using longitude and la***ude for the phone call and apparently the caller is using a tree to call from since the longitude and la***ude doesn't coincide with any home on the street. LOL...interesting!

Call came in at 5:17AM Pacific Time on 12/23.  Not the first time WaMu has called before 6AM, let alone 8AM.  According to Fair Debt Collection Act it's illegal to call outside of 8AM-9PM local time of the person being called.  Am keeping a record of each call & filing complaints.

This really annoying

They call me atleast 8-10 timees a day. Usually get the last call at 8:59pm est. First one is at 8:00am on the dot. I answered the first few times and got nothing. No one ever said a word. I have just quit answering. They have gone so far as to call my husbands ex-wife and her husband trying to reach me. I am considering leagal action a***nst them and WAMU. After all I am an attorney.

I have a card with them and it seems like they want me to pay them twice/month!  I make a payment and the second payment is due in a couple of weeks.  I don't see that one coming until they continue to call me at work and at home from 8am to 9pm.  When I answer their phone calls, I don't get a response.  APR is ridiculous!  I want to get rid of them as quickly as possible!!!

WAMU is outsourcing to India, they use various false caller ID's, which is illegal under Federal Law. Many times, they just ID a State name, some times they use a Company name (other than their own) In one case I cought them using the name of a legitimate company in Illinois, calling from a Colorado area code.

They call constantly and they don't leave a message on either my home phone or my cell phone.

calling to my cell and I don't have an account with them anymore.  Had a mortgage for a house that has been sold for almost 2 years that was paid in full.  My cell is also on the government do not call list

Now just found out its WAMU after i read all these,oh God dont believe all comments with them i wish I never had an account with them I tried to explain to them that i will be late with my next payment and please dont charge me with late charges this is my emergency that time instead they slap you with everything highest APR and all so now tjis site inform me more thanks

Getting very old. 6-8 calls per day for a week. I am on no-call list.

It's one of many numbers used by WaMu.  I am astonished at how much money they waste on chasing a late minimum payment!  WaMu is so relentless between e-mails, snail mail letters and these constant outsourced phone calls around the clock that they will be the *last* bank I pay when I get back on my feet a***n.  I am a hurricane disaster victim and this kind of stress is the last thing I need right now!

They call my office phone every single day, about every 4 hours from 8am to 8pm.  When I do answer, I have to say*****o 4 times before I get a response.  If I say it twice and you don't respond, I **** up. Get on the ball...I finally stopped answering.If it is WAMU, I have a card and payments are current. Leave me alone, I don't want any of your other products. If I wanted them, I would've called you.

Ignoring all calls from WAMU. I already attempted to resolve a payment issue with them via telephone, with the promise from WAMU that related fees would be waived. I did what they asked. They did not do what they promised. Because of the lies of their rep, WAMU has now tacked on additional fees. Warning to all: Read the back of your bill where it states so****ing like, "You can call, but doing so will not preserve your rights."  Do not do ANY business with them over the phone.  Make sure all correspondence is in writing so that you have records of what they say they will do.

Just got a call from them with no message left. This is the fifth call in about 24 hours that I've gotten from a number that people have indicated originates from WAMU. I have never done any business with them so they have no legitimate reason to be trying to contact me, and the cell phone number they're calling has never been given out to any bank or other ins***ution.

Called yes****ay.  Asked for Mr B.  Said he wasn't available so he asked for Mrs B.  Said he wanted to collect a late payment.  I said I wasn't on the account so I didn't have access to pay it.  He continued to pressure me with his scripted responses and didn't make sense.  ID says call is from New Jersey...sounded like it was from India with English as a second language.

Called me multiple times.  I have a wamu card, and was late on my bill which I paid a few days ago.  He wanted to give me back to late fee charge of $39 or whatever if I paid the amount on the phone a***n.  I was confused.  He wanted me to give him my banking info, little sketchy.  I ***g up.

Washington MutualIf you are dumb enough to get caught and do answer the phone..A human will come on and record what you say in case they sue you for collectionsThey have NO desire to work with you on late payments or help you out....They will simply threaten you and keep asking for the ENTIRE amount that you are behind....And the website says call them for****istance if you are behind.....They are criminals

Me too..  Number comes up on my cell phone at least 6 times day.  If its WAMU, go away, I don't want you.  Have an AMEX, a Citi, and a card from my bank.  My house is paid for, don't want a mortgage.  If you want a return call, leave a message and perhaps I can call back.  But like everyone else, I don't answer UNKNOWN, RESTRICTED CALLER, or numbers I don't recognize.

We have received several -no one there - calls at our business

It's a real person -- a collections agent. I don't have a Washington Mutual account. They're calling for a person I've never heard of. Seems someone applied for an account and gave my number as a fake number. The collections **** doesn't believe me.

I have gotten 8 missed calls today from this number and when I try to call it back it just ****s up on me!! I don't have a WAMU account either ***!!!!!

This number has called me 7 or 8 times and I don't have a WAMU account! And they call me on my cell phone. It is annoying and frustrating!

They call me multiple times a day and in the evening after 8pm.  I'm not dealing with them anymore.  I asked them if they could help me by halting or elimating or even just lowering my APR so that I had a fighting chance on paying them.  They refused multiple times and after many attempts... I'm just going to consolidate it instead.  29% APR is just ridiculous.

its WAMU collections, I have worked in a collections dept, they wont leave messages, there on a automated dialer. Do not call registry really doesnt work, especially if you have a cc with the company, they can call you.the system is on a computer calling numbers, and if you call the number back, you get a busy signal because its a dialer, if your late a day the system s****s calling, reps are on commision to clear up your account.

This is WAMU or a company that is working with WAMU to collect on credit card debt. I don't suggest you talk to these schmucks on the phone. Call Washington Mutual directly about your account.
