I''M SO SICK OF GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AT LEAST 10 TIMES TODAY - I PICKED UP ONCE AND IT'S DEAD AIR - WHAT IS THIS ABOUT? I'M **** SICK OF IT

Missed a call from that number.  Decided to call it back and there was an option to put your number on their "do not call" list.  Very painless...let's see if it works!

We are getting the same calls. Only seen it on my caller id. Googled it to find out what it was. I guess I am closer to knowing now.

imgetting theses phone calls to,you mean the phone company cant trace it bull s**t they cant

they call me daily, there is silence on the line then it ****s up, this is very annoying and I should not have to tolerate this, the FCC should take action a***nst this sort of behavior since I am sure the people call are in violation of some law.  This is harrasment plain and simple and for no apparent reason except to annoy.  It also causes you to monitor your calls in case you miss a call that may be important, I do not have the time for this nor should I have to monitor my phone to see who is calling.

This 201-282-5012 number calls my home 8 - 10 times a day. Here it is sa****ay morning at 7:30am and they have s****ed. How do you block these numbers? I work (thank GOD) hard all week, and try to restsome on Sa****ay morning, and get this ****! I thought they the government stopped unwanted telemarketing?

I 2 have been messed with by three different 201 numbers. The first i could tell was a prank, it would **** up if i answered and if i called back an automated service came on and sounded deranged and creepy, like the movie "SAW". I found a website and registered it, and that was the end of that after 3 straight days 4-5 calls a day. Then another number called with 201 and i answered on the second ring. The dude just kept saying "hello". I found another site ans registered that number, but now its this number coming all the way from New Jersey, and its called at least 4 times already. Now somebody should be able to do so****ing about these people, don't they have lives or they just like messing up others.

They are calling rapid-fire and playing games with their auto-dialer. I get a single ring - stop, single ring - stop. This happens 4-5 times and then I get an actual call from them. They claim you "accepted a advertiser contact offer on the Internet." B.S. This has crossed the line from annoying to harassment. These s***bags need to be shut down.

Been getting this call every half hour today. Never a voice mail message. It's my cell phone. How did they get that number? It's not a listed number anywhere.

this number calls me ever half hour exactly.Today i told them i wasent home and i would leave a message if they told me what they wanted.He said he was offering out free government money I told he we wouldnt be intrested but i would leave a message and he is still calling every half hour. its rediculous i have to turn my ringer off and check the caller id to see if anyone important called me.

Have recv'd over 15 calls in the course of 3 days - s****ing at 8:10AM, up until 11:15PM.  No one ever leaves a message.

this number has called me at least 15 times in 2 days s****ing at 7:30 am all the way up to 10:15 pm no one ever leaves a message. does anyone know what this is????

This ****** number called me twice today and there was another number that harassed me for 3 days straight, 4 to 5 times a day. I really dont want to receive phone calls from any 201 number. It seems like a telemarketer to me and not the kind that begs for money, but a nuisance sent to me by another person to pester me.

i got a call from this number offering me ''FREE'' stuff!!!!!! i wanna know if there is anyone that can tell what kind of scam is this one?
