They call you but they **** up before you answer. That way when you call them back it's a free phone call for them and then they give you the scam spiel how you won so****ing. 510 searches it's spam.

I called the the number back after not picking up the first time they called me and it was for some kind of rewards redemption from visiting a website. They offered 100 dollar gift cards from major stores. I selected the prompt to be removed from their list but how did they get my number in the first place?

I got a call today and called the number back. The message began "...and thank you for calling. You have reached us after business hours. Please call back between 10 a and 7 p eastern standard time." Well it's not yet 7p. I hate these types of calls. What a pain!
