They called asking me if my social security # was ****.  They asked if my birthday was a certain date.  I told them no to both questions.  She said that evidently they had the wrong person.

someone calls my job once a week from this number.I don't answer because I do not know anyone from this area. They never leave a message

i fell for them too they promised i could be on my way to clearing my bill with student loan i s****ed to dp ir ****** me then i find out that i was almost conned into getting a NEW loan thru them which u can automatically be held responsible n they can actually garnish your wages, social security while they feel glad that they are getting their paycheck n you get down in the dumps please find an alternet way to settle not thru them its not right

Called and said they were a reference for my family members and needed their information and phone numbers.

I got a call from this number and they identified themselves as Vanru. I have Vanru's # in my cell phone and the always call from an 888  number. But it all sounded like the regular calls from them, and we arranged payments to settle and old debt. I was called from a 847-824-2414 after the first call. Later, my wife tells me that she was contacted by this 201 # asking her for my SS#.

they're a collection agency! and very rude!

they call my house EVERY SINGLE DAY - sometimes more than once a day asking for my daughter.  are very rude will not say what they want her for...

One of many deceptive numbers used by Van Ru Collections, collectors of bad student loans and other bottom feeder accounts, in my case this is at least the third time in the past five years these guys have been****igned the same very old account.

Same...missed calls, no message.
