This company is ARS. They work with HSBC. he are a 3rd party collector that buyh acounts from other debt collectors. They immediately say "refusal to pay" even if u question the validity of the debt. They continue to harrass you on the phone even after being sent a do not call letter.

Kim has called two times in 5 minutes today and once yes****ay afternoon. she's harassing my co-workers because I had put her into voice mail. How do I get her to stop calling my office? She is rude and obnoxious. I know I have a debt but it doesn't have to be broadcast to my co-workers. If I lose my job because of the calls, how will I finish paying the dang thing?

Called; and left msg w/ an 888 number to call back to. Called back and they were VERY RUDE!!! The guy ended up ****ing up the phone on me. But would not say who he was.

These people are rude and will not work with. Tell you that payments are a waste of time and will put refusal to pay by customer on the account. I'm putting a note on my credit reports regarding this company and GE Money.

I did a search for that number you listed northglenn. Seems as if this is not portfolio, this is a company called ARS, another zombie debt collector. From the people commenting on that page, do a search on this site for that number, these people seem to be very similar to the typical zombie debt collectors I have read about.

northglenn momma - Zombie debt collectors are insects who buy old debt, often old debts that are past the statute of limitations. They use many unscrupulous and often illegal tactics to try to get people to pay them money for these debts. The thing is they often don't apply that money to the bill, if you pay them they will probably then sell the debt off to some other company and then they will s**** anew. From what I have read you should never talk to these people, never admit the debt is yours as this evidently s****s the statute of limitations all over.Funny stuff Justin Kase, you were probably talking to some jailbird, these companies often hire people just out of jail to do their bidding.I just got another call today, it had been about a week, I was wondering what happened to them...lol

Yep yep... got one of them there call's from 201-297-4725 on March 8 .. ... Nice.. nice lady .. told here I ain't into kink .. I only have *** with men... then she called me rude and I had to slam the phone down on the table .. I hope her hearin' is okay (snicker-snicker) .. I told her to call back a***n .. anytime .. I only get more rude...  that was a week ago .. an no calls yet  ..

I get called by this # at least twice a day. I ignore it. I wish someone can trace it down and stop it.

I just received a message from this # at my place of employment. The guy talked so fast I had to listen to 4 times just to get the #; the # he left was 888-678-9004 ext 242. i got the 201# off the caller ID.He didn't leave the name of the company so I do not return these calls.Beavis---What is a "zombie" debt collector?

This could possibly be another number for Portfolio Recovery Service, a zombie debt collector. They seem to have an infinite amount of phone numbers and they also frequently use ma****es to robo call people and these don't leave messages.
