I received a voicemail from this number 1/2/08.  They said they were from "Palisades".  I called back and got the screeeeeeeech of a fax ma****e...  Thanks to all who posted.  Gotta love the internet for this type of info sharing.

Called on a Sunday morning at 8:30!!! No voicemail left, and I didn't pick it up.

They've been calling me too, and I called around to see if I had any outstanding bills (which I confirmed I didn't). Like Katie, I called and gave them a fake social, talked to the operator, and found out that they were looking for someone I'd never even heard of before. They did agree to take me off the list, so we'll wait and see if they really do it or not!

I have only gotten 3 calls from the number, i finally answered it in time to hear the automated message. They told me to call 800 414 8319, and it is palisades debt collection as previously mentioned. Hit 1 for English, then i gave them a fake ssn 123-45-6789, then i just hit 0 instead of listening to their options, and this took me to their operator. I just said i didn't know why i was getting the calls, he asked for the number they called, told me the name****ociated with it and then removed my number from the call list.

201-308-9370 is a recorded message from ASTA Funding. This company is a collection agency in NJ. Their corporate office is at 201-567-5648. They have a list of phone numbers that they keep calling to collect debts. The names****ociated with the numbers are not necessarily up to date.     To get off the list or complain about the calls use the corporate number above.

My phone rang at 9:04 this morning, displaying (201) 308-9370. Picked up and heard a recording stating that this is not a sales call and that i need to call 800-414-8319. It's a collection agency who asks me for my phone number then asked if I was Juang Lee (who I am NOT). They promised to remove my number from their call list and I wont get any more calls from them. If I do, I won't be as polite as I was today.

They called me a coupla of times--when I spoke to someone who really ****ed off--I said " you call me a***n **** and I'll ***t you down like the dog you are and **** you. No more calls received.

Same Story here.  Asta Funding on Caller ID for Pallisades Collections.  I don't have anything in collections.  Plenty of debt, nothing overdue.Told them to kiss my lily white****.

KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM 201-308-9370, BUT NEVER LEAVE MESSAGE WHEN THEY CALL, AND THEY CALL ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND NIGHT,ALSO RECEIVED CALLS ON SUNDAY.

They called and left several messages.  I called the 1-800 number they provided, and told them I thought that they were calling in error.  They asked for the phone number they were calling on (which was my cell phone), and I gave it to them.  It turns out they were looking for someone with an entirely different name.  They said they'd take me off their list.  BTW, I didn't enter my SS# at the beginning of the call... that's a bad idea.

I,m constanly getting calls from this place. It always wants me to call them back,and I can never get anyone. They do early mornings,late at night,I think so****ing needs to be done with these people. It looks like it could be traced back to someone and make them pay for aggravating people!!  MAYBE WITH THEIR LIFE!!!!

I keep getting automated calls from these people on my cell phone, about one every 2 weeks - I just disconnect the call before hearing much more than call Palisades....I think I shall keep disconnecting...The only thng that shows upon my caller id is the telephone number.

Here's my story about this number. A person I work with received 3 letters from Palisades Collections to a a person at his address with the same last name but different first. After the 3rd one I called it from my cell phone. I got the whom prompt to enter my SSN, so I entered 611-11-1111, obviously fake :)  I talked with someone and they asked for a 'debtor ID' and so I gave the one off the paper. He asked with whom he was speaking, and I said: YOU TELL ME. He said 2 names before he said the name that was on the letter. HAHA. So then I said, I don't owe debt, and he said he bought the debt from some other company. I told him I would look into this b/c I think he is trying to steal my ID and call him back. Never did. He called a***n and I went into it. I asked what the company address was. He said an address in Jersey. Then I asked him his name, he said TOM. I asked his last name and he said it was irrelevant. So I moved on and asked what SSN he had on file for me. He gave me the last 4. I asked for him to read the whole thing. He gave it. I asked for his last name a***n. He said IRRELEVANT. So I asked for his email. He said WE DONT DO EMAIL HERE. I laughed. I final read back all the info he gave me and I asked if that was correct. He said yes. Then I said, THAT IS NOT MY NAME, NOT MY ADDRESS, NOT MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. PLEASE NEVER CALL ME A***N AND TAKE MY NUMBER OFF YOUR LIST. He got reeeaalllly mad. He said YOU'VE JUST WASTED THE LAST 5 MIN OF MY TIME. I said GOOD, YOU SHOULDN'T BE STEALING PEOPLES IDEN***Y (or so****ing like that). and he ***g up on me hahahahah. Well, that was last week and I've gotten 2 more calls from this number. Shouldn't this be a***nst the law?

I also received a call from this number. I do not answer unknown numbers.Received this call on my cell phone. I do not owe any debts so have no reason for a debt collection agency to call me. Is there a way to stop these calls?

I keep getting calls from this number at all hours of the night.  They keep saying that they are a company called Palace Aides.  I have Verizon, and every time I call back I cannot get an answer.

I get the same call and its annoying as*****.

THIS NUMBER CALLS THREE TIMES A DAY I WILL BE READY FOR THEM THE NEXT TIME THEY CALL.... IF YOU CALL THE NUMBER BACK IT SOUNDS LIKE A FAX MA****E RINGING...WHO THE***** ARE THEY????

Received call from this number.  Voicemail left stating this was not a sales call and to return call to 800-414-8319.   I returned call to get Pallisades Collection.  An automated prompt gave the debt collection speal and then asks to hold for next available representative. After a short pause I get "To help expedite your call, please enter your full nine digit social security number".  After entering the number of my now deceased husband, I get another menu of about five things and I chose the "For all other calls please press 5". "Welcome to Pallisades, this is Victor. How can I help you"  At that point I ***g up.
