I ANWSER AND THERE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING.

Got a solicitation today from the same number - they say they are calling for the Police Athletic League.  I called the NJ PAL office and they confirmed they are doing fundraising at this time, and this is probably legit.  I always ask for do***entation and never give a payment on the spot (they will probably ask for CC number or so****ing).  Just be careful.

Yeah, this guy called me from that number saying "I can't come tomorrow because I have orientation" in an immature voice.

gentleman called and asked to speak to the owner of the company. I stated they are not here at the moment can I take a message and they said no its a civic matter..?! than ***g up.

PAL , another scam

Between 5pm & 6pm - every night they call - never leave message and **** up soon as ma****e answers!  It's become quite annoying!

The "Police Athletic League" has called me three days in a row.  My daughter told them that we weren't available.  When you redial the number, it will give you another number for further information, which has an option to be taken off their call list.  So I did all that and guess what?  They just called a***n.  This time asking for "Jason."  No Jason here!  On the state and federal "do not call" list, for what it's worth.  Guess I'll go and file a complaint, for all the good THAT will do!

I keep getting annoying calls from 201 399-2809 twice every day even weekends for 2 months. It's VERY annoying! They don't answer if you pick up, and don't leave a message. PLEASE, how can I stop this annoying caller?????

These people keep calling constantly saying they are collecting money for the police athletic league. I doubt that they are who they say they are. They ***g up on me when I told them that my uncle was a police officer.

why have a DO NOT CALL list,,,it don't matter !!!!

One of the phony police organizations. No REAL police agency would EVER call for a donation except for your local PAL and even they will rarely call. These guys are set up as non-profits and the majority of the money they collect goes to the guys that own the company. BEWARE and never give them money. It does not go to where you might think. Call your local PAL and give them money if you care to donate to a real organization.

I get calls from this number frequently - they have harrassed if I've said no and this week I have gotten call and all they do is breathe heavy, you **** up and they just keep calling!

They call several times and leave a static message. I am on the do not call registry.

i was called from this number and they said these donations go to your local Police Athletic League.  I thought that was interesting since i am on the board of directors of the local Police Athletic League and we do not have a telephone collection going on.  These people are crooks.

repeated phone calls with no1 there..  My number is on the do not call list... it sometimes shows as out of area...

Just received a call from 201-399-2809. Caller ids as "Local Call". Answer phone and no one is there!!

They called and they ***g up fast. Also they call often.

201-399-2809 is the Police Athletic League of NJ.  They're looking for donations.

If you call the number back, it's an automated message that gives you another number to call.  That number is 1-800-298-7216.  It's another automated number.  If you listen for awhile, it gives you a choice to put your home phone on their do not call list.  If it's for real, that is.

Received a call from this number on 10/23 at 4:45PM.  Caller ID says Weehawken, NJ.  I answered and no one was there.

Received a call from this number today. Did not answer since I didn't recognize the number.

Received a call from them and I am on the Do not call list.  All it said on my caller ID was Weehawkin which is a town in NJ.  Did not pick up.

i got this call today from this number, looking for a specify person but quickly ***g up. Weird.

To stop these calls, go to DONOTCALL.GOV, the government registry.  After you've been on for 30 days, you can file a complaint about a specific caller.

received call from 201-399-2809...when I answered a male caller asked for me but I said "she's not in may I take a message"...he replied no message we'll try a***n and ***g up....I called the number back & an automated message says it is the Police Athletic League of New Jersey

I have also received a couple of phone calls from this number (201-399-2809), but have nit picked up and they have not left a message. After reading the above I will pick-up next time and keep you posted.

I am receiving repeated phone calls from this number.  As "Out Of Area" is the only identifying information provided, I won't pick up the call.  No message is ever left.

I missed a call from this number. I didn't call back.
