same text message. AZ Sprint. 6th time. 11 time 3 times in 1 day. Can we report to sprint or is there a way to block texts. I don't even text, and don't want to. Do we pay for the text? Could it be a way for the cell phone companies to run up a bill..ok, not by much.

I got exactly the same. Message at about the same time as everyone else. I put a fake 16 digit credit card number. It wanted an expiration date and my 4 digit pin. I tried to get a cust svc rep on the phone. It ***g up on me. This is the 2nd time I have received this message on my cell phone

It's a text from phone number 9099 (that's what text numbers usually show up as). The text that is written to me says, " customer issue, credit union west service frozen. please call 201 484 8652."I believe it's some kind of scam, but I haven't called it and don't plan on it either. It's 11:36am Mountain standard time and I received the text at 10:47am.It's a coincidence how many people posted their problem just a few minutes up to an hour earlier than me.

Like everyone else, this text message, "customer issue, credit union west service frozen. please call at 201 484 8652" has come into my phone four times (twice today) and also on my wife's phone.  We haven't responded.  We're in AZ with Sprint also.  Thanks for everyone's posts to confirm this as a scam.

Crdeit Union West is a real credit union HQed in P***nix, AZ.  I used to have an account but not anymore, obvious scam...

I received the same text as everyone.  I've received this or similar texts about a Credit Union west account about 10 times over the past year, also with Sprint.  What an idiot scammer this person is--at least use a bank or credit union that a lot of people hold accounts with.

Please call at 2014848652Did reverse phone lookup and received:This LANDLINE number is issued by BROADWING COMMUNICATIONS, LLC .General location: JERSEYCITY/JERSEY CITY, NJ area.If this was a legitimate Credit Union, a reverse lookup would return the actual business it was issued to. This is the second time I received this same message. It's a SCAM.I'm contacting BROADWING COMMUNICATIONS, LLC to report it as a scam.

How can this be reported to the authorities to track these crooks down and put them in jail?

My "buddy" 9099 has left me three messeges since 9:30 az time. "customer issue, credit union west service frozen, please call at 201 484 8652." This is rediculous and has been going on for way too long. Who is selling our numbers to these people?? Where are they getting them from?? Are they tracking our key ******s from our computers?? Why don't we have better security for **** like this?? I need answers....

I received a text exactly the same as all of you @2:11pm. This is the third text from this number.

I just recieved the same  exact msg. I called my ph carrier and notified them. They told me it was a scam, and to not respond to any su****ious texts or call the ph # because they can charge your phone when you call ????

I just got the same message. We called from another number with *67, its a recording and asks for your 16-digit credit card number followed by the pound key. There is no operator or anything.THIS IS A SCAM

just got a text, total scam, don't call the number just delete it
