This is not a scam or a telemarketer it is a research group that pays you for your time. I have worked with them many times. They normally pay $100 for an hour of your time.

received a call from this number at my office.  "Tasha from Russel Research officially hired by the IRS and featured on the IRS website". She introduced herself and then said "I'm sorry, I have another call coming in. Is it okay if I give you a call back?"  I ***g up.  She called back and asked to be transferred to our Executive Vice President in charge of farming.

Survey claiming to represent the IRS. What does asking if I use the Internet to buy products have to do with the IRS?  What does asking if I used social websites such as Facebook have to do with the IRS?  Sure they threw in a couple of questions like did you file a tax return last year?  Since they knew my name before they called, they knew that I did.  I am su****ious as to the real reason behind this call.

Called me after 9 pm. That's illegal!

These idiots called us once each weekday from 8/18 until 8/25 (but missed 8/24, somehow), and never left a message.I answered on 8/25 and the woman asked if she could speak with my husband.  I told her "No."  She said that she was calling on behalf of the IRS about ::blah blah:: and we would be compensated for our time.  I told her that we were on the DNC list, and she said that it didn't matter.  Bull---t.  I also said that we weren't interested in their research, and she said "How do I know that your husband isn't interested?"  I said, "Because I TOLD you so," just before I ***g up.

Kept asking me, "Is this Kim?" but apparently couldn't hear me and we were disconnected.

"I'm looking for your manager of information technology." This has sales call from a source we've never contacted before, as they didn't requested anyone specifically by name.

Woman said she was calling "for the IRS" and wanted to go over our tax information. I told her the IRS doesn't do that and that I was reporting her. I emailed the info to www.irs.gov

Called for my little sister who married, asked for her by her maiden name and said they were calling from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) so she could take a survey. Told them not to call a***n, I think it's a scam.

This number claims to be calling for the IRS asking for information about filing habits.
