SPAM!!! Don't fall for their underhanded tactics & slick BS.

This is a collection company, the name they give you is the company they are trying to collect for. There has been CCB INC, West Bay Aquisitions, HSBC Household Savings Bank, National Recovery Agency, and a number of others. basically this is a **** hole company that other collection companys sell off their accounts to because they were un siccessfull in getting anywhere on the debt and they feel any further exspences will be lost so they get rid of it for pennies on the Dollar. NEVER EVER EVER EVER answer a phone call of a phone number you dont know who it is. These companies want you to talk, they need you to talk, they have no case and are trying to build one. They s**** off with less then 5% probability of a collection and every time they speak to a live voice they****ociate that to an additional 5% probability of collection. DONT TALK TO ANYONE ANYTIME it will go on for years and they will drop it like the company they got it from. These are the bottom of the Barrel ***** addicts *****s and groverment ****ing of funds people who cant survive in the world today calling you from a sweat shop calling center. it is a bill collection agency. It would seem that they buy debts that have been written off for a small percentage and then they try to recover the money. if they recover it they win big. if they do not, they sell the debt off at a later date. as long as there is an out standing debt, they will call. if you have a car, house, boat, loan of anykind, and your name is on a contract, then there is a legal responciblity to pay that debt. if your item was taken back and sold, then what ever was not paid on the sell, you still owe. if you have helped someone out or signed for someone else, then you are still on the hook because that is what a co-signer is saying when they do that for a friend. i know it ****s. but such is life. devorce, *****, or just hard times, every one has a reason but that is not going to stop the calls. i get calls because of my exwife. yep, devorce. so... if you want the call to stop, they wont. get a call blocker. the new automated systems do this wait that says yes you are if your still here thing. its **** cause calls dont **** up when you leave a message. just block evey call that does not leave a number. thats what i do. and if i do not know it, i dont answer it. simple. set your phone not to ring when Bill calls, add all those numbers to Bill and then block bill from your phone. there. no ringer if he gets passed. also. give the people you know a ring tone and then set your phone with a silent tone for all calls. only the ones you know will have noise. hope it helps. i feel you... it gets old, i am tired of it so i am now helping out the other side. good luck troopers...

I've been getting calls the last two mornings at around 8am. They are unknown caller on the caller ID. I was getting a recording saying my name and if you are this person press 1 to acknowledge you are this person. I finally did press one only to see who the***** was calling and was getting angry about being woke up as I am up late at night and can't leave the ringer off due to an elderly mother who needs to call and kids who when they call from school shows up as unknown caller. They said they were from West Bay aquisitions and then said to verify it was me they were going to say the last 4 of my social. (I don't give my social out to wierdos like that either and the numbers they rattled off were wrong and I told them so. They said so there isn't another person with your name there? NO. So they ***g up and not an hour or two later this number calls with the same type recording and asking for someone else. I am really fixing to go off on someone. This is rediculous.

How is it that they need your name and number when they are calling you????  I'm not understanding.  I'm getting calls from them too, it's just odd.  Why are they asking for my name and number?  You just called me a** hole!

They s****ed with me last week.  They tried the same stuff with me when I called them (using the free Google call) One thing I have learned is not to give out ANY information on the phone to anyone... I never tell them who they have reached or the number they called.  They are a debt collector called:  CCB... Because of their refusal to give information when they call or you return their call everyday people have trouble figuring out who they are and that is the way they want it.  Be aware... they troll these sites and to see what is being said!  If the response to your report is to pay your debt or they will work with you, know it is a bunch of crud  They are mean nasty people.  Does not matter if I owe a debt or not, I refuse to put up with bad behavior.  One other thing they do not like is when you become****ertive and refused to give them your name and number.  These people become down right nasty.  I now have a way to record them and I will be hooking it up!

Get audio caller ID for modem to block the calls. Or file complaint with the FTC on their website.

The mess*** this number left today was automated.....they say they are a company called Weltman, Weinberg, & Reese.  I looked them up and they have nothing but a bunch of rip off reports and scam claims!  Don't answer or at least make them send so****ing in writing if you dont want to avoid them!

I have been getting calls from them too. I called them back and they will not tell me who they are or what they want but needless to say that it takes two to tango and they are down a partner in this dance. Thanks for the tip on adding a block call service to the phone service I carry. That is a great idea. I wonder if they even know that people are on to them.

This has been happening to me too and PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!! I called my local phone company and added a "Blocked Call' service and is only pennies per month. Each time an unwanted caller gets on my list, they are added to the block call list and never hear from them a***n. I also use my cell phone now (only close friends and family have) and plug my phone into my fax line so those a**holes get the fax noise to listen too. If by chance I answer a phone call that I don't recognizes, I just let them s**** with there little s***ch and tell them to get a REAL JOB and **** up. :) :) That really ****es them off and they try to call back, I answer and then **** up before they get a word out of their low life mouth.....Play their game but by your rules!!!!

I get calls from these people every day.  They are relentless. I called the number back and got a very rude person that would not give me any information unless I gave him my phone number. He gave me the same story they gave Gary.

The number had been calling me all week.  I pick up and this guy s****s by telling me happy early birthday.  He s****ed telling me my credit history and that he had pulled me credit report. (Uhhh...) I asked what this call was about and that they needed to stop bothering me.  He told me they will not and that I owed $8,800.00 on a car that had been repoed over 2 years ago that I had cosigned for.  (Funny thing is that amount owed keeps c****ing every time I am called.  Several different people have tried to call me about the repoed vehicle and the number has gone from $6,000.00 to $8,000.00 to $8,600.00 and now it is $8,800.00.  I have also gotten calls for a ***ndon, a ***ylin, and a ***ndy from this company all for the exact same car.)  At this point I believe they do not know who they are looking for and that they are just looking for money.  The other funny thing was he kept telling me I was the only one on the loan and that he had a signed copy in front of him (which they have refused to give me by the way).  He kept bugging me about my credit and read my social security number to me over the phone!  Then, he told me I was just a ****er that somebody had used, at which point I ***g up the phone because no one should treat people like that, especially not debt collectors...  I do not put up with harrassment especially from people that do not tell me who they are or who they work for.  As far as I know from the bank there was no debt owed and the bank never contacted me after the vehicle had been repoed. So, why are they calling my number?This same company also calls me from unavailable numbers, restricted numbers and other out of state numbers.  They call me any time s****ing as early as 7 am and as late as 8 pm.  For the past year I have had no way of contacting them because they would not leave the company name or used fake names and any time I called an actual number they called me with they would **** up or the line would no longer be in service.  They have called claiming to be from Indiana, Illinois, ect.  This is the first time they have left a non-animated number on a voicemail and the first time they have left a number to call them back with and identified themselves.  I am finding it very annoying and want to be left alone!

This is from HSBC. This is the third phone number from them. I called them back and they refused to give me their company name unil I gave them mine. They said they were a private company in Illinois, but yes, the phone number is from NJ.

This number called me 201-535-3789. Calle back it said thanks for holding then ****s up on me any idea who it is?
