Leave a CommentTHIS IS A SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got the message : SUBJECT: 8888438320 MESSAGE: Customer issue, hsbc ny services frozen. call us at 201-620-2117 I don NOT have an account with this bank, and I don't know anyone that might have one with them, but I keep getting similar text messages on my cell. I'm not sure what to make of it. Result of calling the above numbers: 888-843-8320 - Fax number 201-620-2117 - They will request the 16 digit account#, then the 4 digit expiration of the card, and ultimately they ask for the PIN# to the card... No matter what account you type, in the end they will say "Thank you, your account was updated successfully" ... and they **** up. Please do NOT type your real account number !!! This is just a scam !!! Go to your HSBC local ***nch if you actually have an account with them... Wish you the best.
