Three calls,one right after the other, charged to my telephone bill for this unlisted number. How could I make a call to an unlisted number? to someone I didn't know and still don't know.

I got a letter in the mail telling me that i established a PIN.  I don't have anything to do with the company and they had a this phone number at the bottom telling me to call if I did not establish a PIN. The woman on the other end of the line wanted my SSN saying that they were a "funds transfer service."  I ***g up.  e-mail me if you have any ideas how to stop this group of thieves.
