Spam text message received on Verizon cell phone, allegedly from 201-736-8425, despite my number being on the Do Not Call registry.  Text reads:"As Thank You for visitingour site, a $25 Wal-MartGift card and $25 Visa Gift Card CAN BE Yours.Call 1-866-869-2132Or visit LAPTO***.com 2end reply stop"I never give out my cell number for any commercial purpose or on any web site.  Will report these numbers at donotcall.gov

Got a txt from this number.....Shoppers: Earn $100/day! Undercover shoppers needed to judge retail & dining establishments! No experience required    Call 866-571-8731    Reply STOP to end. I'm****uming that I shouldn't reply, but how should I make this stop? Been receiving other txts from other numbers as well. Just want it to end.

I received a text yes****ay from this number purporting to be a solicitation for "secret shoppers." I texted "end" thinking that would end the texts. Shortly thereafter I s****ed receiving phone calls from various east coast area codes. The calls are now coming every 15 minutes. I am hoping that it does not have so****ing to do with this scam: http://www.fbi.gov/page2/june10/phone_062110.html If you get a similar text, I would immediately delete it.

I got 2 in 2 days. So I posted a message on FB (I have about 3,000 friends) for everyone to call them all day and all night.  You wouldn't believe how ****ed they are, lol. We have been calling for 24 hours straight, lets see if the can fight the numbers, we all have unlimited minutes and lots of us work from home. Keep Scamming, we will keep calling.  We also posted in chat rooms, that should be fun between 12AM and 5AM.

I just received a text from these guys as well. I am registered with the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY so I just filed a complaint.

Try blocking the number through your cell provider.

Yes, I got a text two days in a row from this number. As soon as I saw "thanks for visiting our site" I knew it was spam. I never give out my number. How do they get them (the numbers)? I hope I don't keep getting texts. Thanks all for sharing your info!

I got a text yes****ay and today from this number. I thought it was weird the first time because my husband is the only one who texts me...but I opened it. I didn't read the whole thing but it also s****ed with "Thanks for visiting our site." As soon as I saw that I knew it was spam so I deleted it. Today I got the text a***n and when I saw the number I didn't even open. (I don't have free texting so it would cost me).

I have received text from this # 1 - 2 times per week-Thx for visiting our website. I was told if I don't respond and just hit clear that it would end.  That has not been the case

201-736-8425 - unsolicited text message.  'Thank you for visiting our site.  Call 877-704-6317 for a $20.00 Walmart card. Of yeah, I really think I'm going to call.  Why do these scam artists get away with this?

Spam Text on 6/9/10 read: "Thx 4 visiting our site Call 1-877-704-6317 to claim Your FREE $20 Walmart Card plus $50 gas card, Gift Code: RRV200 2end reply stop"

They get really mad when you ask them why they are trying to scam people...she asked me why I wasted my money calling them back if I knew they were a scam....then she spoke really fast with a foreign accent.  I called another time and asked the guy which websites I had visited to win the gift card and he told me they had thousands and websites and when I asked him to be specific he got very angry.

Same here. In fact my number is in DNC/opt-out. I still got the text message from them. It is a spam.

The caller did not leave any message.
