calls 5 to 6 times a day, there is no one on the other end then it ****s up

THEY KEEP CALLING AND NO ONE IS ON THE LINE

If you call the number back it tells you that the number has been diconnected or is no longer in service. They called twice withinone hour.

What's the point of us reporting these calls? Is there any point? It doesn't seem to stop them, or am I missing so****ing?

Somebody keeps calling me from this # and never responses.

SAME HERE AS EVERYONE. 201-796-8854 S****ED CALLING ME TODAY (8/06/10). I "IGNORE" THE CALL AND END IT. BUT, IT CALLS ME RIGHT BACK. I ALSO TRIED CALLING THE NUMBER BACK FROM A LAND LINE AND IT GIVES THE SAME MESSAGE AS ABOVE, "REACHED A # THAT'S BEEN DISCONNECTED OR NO LONGER IN SERVICE" AND YET...IT'S CALLING US! BIZARRE! ANYWAY, SUGGESTION TO DO AS I ALWAYS DO WITH "**** CALLS" - TEMPORARILY SAVE THE NUMBER IN YOUR "CONTACTS/ADDRESS BOOK" ON YOUR CELL. THEN "EDIT IT" - ***LE IT "**** CALL" (OR THE LIKE) - WHILE YOU ARE IN "EDIT",****IGN A "RINGTONE" TO IT - BUT SELECT "MUTE". THEY MAY KEEP CALLING BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO HEAR THEM! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

I have just recieved 6 calls from this number in the last 30min. I too picked up out of fustration and no one was there. I called back blocking my number and it says the number is no longer in service. My caller id says " NEW JERSEY"..So far this number has called me over 10 times in the past 3 hours, but the calls have picked up in the last 10 min!! Every day I have at least 6 numbers calling here and its ****ing me off, especially when I tell them they have the wrong number! If I dont know the number I aint picking up!

I have gotten 15 calls a night from this number for the last 2 nights in a row. If I answer it ****s up, if I call it back there is a Sorry the number you have called has been disconnected. What is going on?!?!

I believe that it is a representative from Kaplan College. Ever since i got online to just see what they offer I have been getting these calls, when I finally got ahold of a person on the phone (from a supposed different number) the other calls have stopped, until he called and I told him I was not interested...the calls s****ed up a***n, if i get ahold of him I am going to get his name (full)...department...and hus supervisors name, and file a report for harrasment, if there is a will there is a way. Have any of you looked into colleg on line?..that may be your answer.

They called my house 6 times in 15 min last night, last call was @ 9 pm. i was furious!!!!!!! So, I picked up. I said "hello" This woman said, Caterine (could not even*****ounce my name correctly)Then I said " Oh I'm so glad you called me back, I have been so lonley, I just don't know who to talk to, I know why don't you come to San Jose?? We could go someplace the movies, I love the movies, I love scary, action, mostly anything, we can have dinner or so****ing, I know how about bowling, u like to bowl, I do, they have pizza there and great drinks. We could go to the ocean I love the ocean and mabye go on some rides. .....I did not give her one second to speak. I kept going on and on talking like a valley girl......LOL it was histerical!!!!!! Finally she said, Caterine, these calls are recorded .....I said "GOOD YOU CALL MY HOUSE ONE MORE TIME I'M CALLING THE POLICE!!!!! REMOVE MY NAME FROM YOUR CALLING LIST"She said" Im removing your name" Then I  ***g up........so far today, no more calls.......we shall see!

It is an online work at home scam. They call me every single day 10 times a day and my cell is pre-paid. I have called and got the recording to press 2 to be put on the do not call list and they still call. I have had it! I'm going to have to c****e my #.

I continue to get this call from this # over & over a***n. Its nerve recking. Im get the same results as the others. This doesnt make no sense.

I encountered the same thing that Allie experienced.

I have received 10 calls from this number within an hour. Once I answered it there is no answer. I finally called back and got "We're sorry, you have reached a number that has been disconnect or no longer in service." But apparently they can make calls to me.
