i really don't have anything better to do with my life than write on these ****** forums. i didn't get a call from here but i figure i would join the crowd.

I have been getting phone calls from this number as well over the course of the past few months.  I only get them in the morning (pacific time) and have never picked up.  Whenever I try to call back, it just rings no voicemail

I got a call from this number.  Sounded like a call center with a lot of people talking in the background.  After a pause a man just said "Mr. ******?" (using my actual last name).  I said "Yes?" and he ***g up.  Now a few days later I got what I****ume is a phishing scam text message from "Bank Franklin" asking me to call 818-476-5000.

i got a call from the number 201 880 7642, i answered and no one said anything, they called a***n and no one said anything, i decided not to answer it anymore. this is not the first time that i have gotten a call from a number like this

I received a call from this number; but did not answer it.  I figured if it was  important they would leave a message.  No message was left so I am glad I did not answer it.  I am a customer of Sprint and my phone number was given to someone else when they purchased a phone from Metro PCS. I did not think this could happen.  My privacy was invaded and my phone number made available to whomever.  Very scary.

well i have been getting calls from 201-880-7642. Just about everyday I dont answer but I have sprint and contract is up. Thats definitly what it is about, renewing!

Sounds like these guys borrowed a Sprint employees laptop or so****ing. I am a sprint customer, got the same number from NJ. ***g up as I answered.

I GOT CALLED 2ICE FROM THIS NUMBER. THE CALL GETS DISCONNECTED RIGHT AWAY. WHEN I CALL BACK. IT RINGS 2 OR 3 TIMES AND IT ****S UP. NOONE EVER PIC'S UP AND NO VOICE MAIL.

A call was made from this number twice, to my son's cell phone (which is under my name) once on 11-9-07 at 137pm and a***n this morning at 1141am, however his morning, the gentleman actually said my first name, then we were disconnected. When I tried to call back,I got a busy signal twice. WHO or WHAT is this number?

They're on a roll.  I got a call today and saw the number on my caller id.  I thought it was weird since I rarely get calls fm NJ.  I picked up and no one was on the other line.  I said*****o twice and then I said, "Bueno?" because I happen to be bilingual.  There was a woman on the other line who introduced herself and said she was calling from Sprint... in Spanish.  i thought this was odd, because even though I have a Hispanic surname and I happen to be bilingual, all the calls I get from Sprint, or anywhere else for that matter, are in English.  She said I was eligible for a new free phone with a retial value of $150.  I denied and she asked, Really? (in Spanish).  I ***g up and called Sprint, like the other person on this forum and they were of no help at all - in fact, they wanted to offer me a free phone too.  I kept saying to forget about the phone, I was worried about the call I just got.  The fraud department doesn't help at all, and I haven' tried what the other person on this forum has... filing a Case Management Report.

I also received 2 calls from this number over the past few weeks.  The first time the guy told me that he was from Sprint and that I was eligible for a new phone so I told him that I wasn't interested.  Just now I received another call from that same number, so I tried to call him back  but it was busy.  I was persistent and finally got through but no one answered and there was no voicemail, just a recording after awhile that says "..the number cannot be reached as dialed".

I have received numerous calls from this number a week over the past few months. Finally today they said they were Brian calling from Sprint. My phone is over 2 years old and did I want to purchase a new one? I told him NO and immediately called Sprint. I was told that they no longer call customers about needing new phones or account renewals. I asked for their Fraud Department. No help - at all. Told me nothing they could do about this. I called back to Customer Solutions and they finally agreed to file a Case Management Report about this. Nothing will be done, I am sure. I am furious that someone knows this information about me, knowing full well that they probably know more.

I just received a call from them, didn't answer nor did they leave a message.

In the past two weeks I have gotten two calls from 201-880-7642.  No one there when i answer.

no message, but got a call from a similar number last week, also no message

I received a call from this number, and when I answered somebody creepily said "Exactly." and then ***g up

Noticed a call from this number on Caller ID. Decided to return the call but got busy tone both times.
