multiple calls...asked not to call my number a***n

This number is constantly calling me about some scam their running about making blogs for businesses. It's supossed to be a 'job' but they keep trying to get my debit card number. I ask them "why would I pay for a job?" and they give me some **** about upkeep. I told them "I'm not interested", yet they keep calling. I have them listed in my phonemy phone as "DON'T ANSWER".

This number calls so many times a day,..no voicemail no anything....its very annoying.

I kept getting calls during the day and I teach school. I tried calling them back many times and never got a reply. I too got tangled up with a free grant money bunch (who have never refunded my money when I returned their product - unopened). If I may warn everyone NEVER get involved with "Free Grant Money". I don't care how legitimate they may sound - THEY ARE NOT! I got duped by Chris Johnson scam!

This number calls me up to five times a day with no voice mail and even when I answer there is no one there. How do I get these calls to stop?

I think this is related to Acai Berry calls. Same area code. I just ignore without answering. They had stopped calling for awhile and just recently s****ed up a***n. It's either them, or someone they turned the calls over to.

please report this number and block them from bothing people!!! especially at 2AM calling 4 times!!!!!!

I s****ed receiving these calls also and saw all the complaints and futility of everyone. I took another approach when they called. I acted happy to receive the call and "played" along. When they asked for my credit card number I explained that I didn't have any and asked them to bill me. They asked me to ask a friend or family and I said I didn't have any but I promised to pay them. They said they couldn't do that and would let me know if things c****ed. Maybe not the "right" way for this to stop but it did. Haven't gotten a phone call since. Try it

This number calls at all times of the day and night. This is disruptive, an invasion of privacy, and needs to STOP!

Like every one else they keep calling me since 2/5/09 but with all the information on this site, the call was registered on the do not call registrey and they can call untill 2/8/09 after that they will be in trouble. just ingnore them, and a***n call them back press 2 for take me off your call list and **** they are gone

i finally got to talk to someone!!! i was tired of picking up 10 calls a day and getting ***g up on. so i picked up this time and yelled "f@$* u" into the phone. all of a sudden, someone said "hello" so i said "hello" and she introduced herself as a name i can't even begin to*****ounce or spell, and said she was from "Grant Instructor". i have no idea what that is, so i told her to take me off the call list and do not call me a***n. hopefully that will work. so you have to somehow get someone on the phone when they call. good luck!

They have called three times. I left a message on the answering service. I missed the calls a***n. They never leave a message. How am I supposed to know if this is a crank or real call?

I get calls from this number every day, several times a day. Each time they call it appears to be from a different state but the number is the same. My caller ID shows the phone number as 201-918-4831 but the state will be different each time. Florida, Oklahoma, Pensylvaina, etc. but the same number. They never say anything and when I try to call them back it is a recording that says, "You have reached the service department, if you wish to speak with a representive press 1...", then it says if you wish to be removed from the calling list press another number and enter your phone number. After you do that you get a recording that says you have been removed from our calling list. But that is not true, they still keep calling. I want this to stop! I don't know who it is and they never say anything at all. They just hold the phone and then **** up! Beware!

This is a telemarketer call center. They are are used by different en***ies and are usually staffed by 'work at home' employees. It is not proved but suspected that different scams are originating here.

I WAS TOLD THAT THIS NUMBER IS HIRED BY CELL PHONE COMPANIES JUST TO CALL AND RUN UP YOUR MINUTES. THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO ACT ON THIS QUICKLY. CALL YOU LOCAL SENATOR TO SEE IF THEY CAN HELP.

This number [(201) 918-4831] has been calling me for 2 days non stop. When I answer no one is on the line and when I don't answer they do not leave a message. I filed with the government to try to handle the situation. Maybe you all should go through your local government to do the same.

This number has called my cell phone 18 times in the past 3 hours. How do we get this to stop? I've tried their "do not call" program and the **** continues. Ughhh!

2/5/09 7:30-7:50pm California Tonight I have received 5 calls from this number within approximately 20 minutes. 3 **** ups as I answered and twice an Indian sounding woman who tried to tell me I had 'signed up' for this information. I informed her I did not and that I wanted her to STOP CALLING MY HOME. Within minutes she called back. I became really irritated and told her I was 'reporting' the caller and to STOP CALLING.

Caller shows as "Unknown Caller". Gotten 5 calls from this number in the last hour. Quite annoying. Going to try to answer before the call is dropped, get information, tell them not to call, and wait for another couple calls. Every call after then, minus one *****up call can get you $500.

I provided my phone number for some of the grant money finders that are out there right now...big mistake...I didn't purchase any of their services because they charge you $60 after a week or so if you do not cancel. Annoying.

This number has called my phone 3 times just in this afternoon of today the 5th of February. When I answer it disconnects me, when I try to call back it disconnects me. There is no way to be able to let these people know not to call. I think this number should be disconnected to stop calling people.

These people are calling from one of these websites. It's unclear whether or not you have to have registered on the site (and that's how they got your #) or if they are performing some kind of a reverse look-up to see who you are based on your IP Address. http://www.trypureacaiberry.net http://www.bromalite.com I never registered with their site, but I did click on a Google-Text-Ad that took me to their site. Then I s****ed to recieve telephone calls from them. Either way, that's who these people are. Telemarketers for a weight-loss and another kind of health-food type of Product.

every 2 hours I receive a call from this number. I picked up the last time and there was no one there. I called the number back and all it said was "thank you for calling customer service" and gave me options to hit ****ons to either leave a message or to be put on their do not call list. It never even said a company name and customer service was never available (tried 4 times in a row sent me straight to a voicemail with no name and I left messages with noise, since that is all they left me)

I just recieved three calls this morning. I just called them back and they have now added an automated respond and if you go through it there is an option, number 2, where you can delete you number off of there list. It takes 2 seconds and the annoyance is gone.

I received a call from this number and looked up a reverse number on white pages. Its a number calling from Montgomery Street in New Jersey. If you call the number back and then wait long enough it will ask if you wish to be taken off of their call list. I think you press 2 to be taken off. Its just solicitors calling. If you ever see a number you dont recognize and you answer and they ask for you, just tell them they have the wrong number. They usually never call back. It shuts them up quick. Also you can register at the national do not call list. https://www.donotcall.gov/ That is the link above just copy and paste into your browser. Once you have been registered with them for 30 days, you can s**** adding numbers that you don't want to call you. Hope this helps. :)

If you have signed up for any of the "free" grant money that has been offered lately, that is why you are getting these calls. I don't know why they have a DNC option if they are just going to ingnore it, but I won't be answering their calls. It's just annoying.

Last time I answered it, no one there, sat on there for about 10 seconds after saying*****o.  I called the number back, and it went instantly to a message saying "thank you for calling customer service" (no company name) it was a NJ accented woman.  I had looked the number up in MSN.com reverse look up and the number is regis****ed to somewhere in SanAntonio TX.  Not NJ.  It did give the option to put yourself on their do not call list.  Not sure if I want to do this because I have my doubt that it will stop the calls.  If they continue I will have to give that a ****.
