Same as everyone has said. What is the angle here (besides getting an address).

I received the same voicemail stating that he wanted to send out 2 envelopes but wanted to verify my address just like the others

I had the same phone message on my phone today, Male caller, not a computer, with the same info as above, mailing out 2 plain envelopes, cost 15.00 to fedex or ups the letters, exact same information as the above comments. I was concerned for a while, but now I see it has to be a scam. Am I going to call them back...…..NO not a chance.

I received the call with the exact message. I returned the after business hours this is some type of sales call center

Received a voice-mail message today with similar message as others reported below - I did not call the number back.

At 11:14 am on June 15, 2018, I received the same call as the one in June but, it said my "call went straight to voicemail". And that he wanted to verify my address. When I called the number back a young sounding female answered and I asked her who was calling me and why and she said "we are trying to find James". I said that James didn't live here and never had and she apologized. I will be wat****g to see if any unauthorized calls show up on the phone bill.

Voicemail transcript: “Hi good afternoon I went straight to your voicemail um I just wanted to let you know that we're _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_ try to _⁠_⁠_ two letters out to the house today um but they're going to come in standard _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ um so if you look in the top left it will say a reference ID it _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ s****s at 6249 _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ last name but the reason for the call is um I'd much rather send a FedEx or UPS but obviously it was gonna cost $15 so I want to be certain I have the exact correct mailing address on file before these go out so if you could please give me a call back my test today I'd I'd really appreciate it I give _⁠_⁠_ my desk and I'm here pretty much all day it's 201-942-1980 OK thanks have a great day…

I found this on the web and they did the same thing to me. Sounded legit but obviously not. “left voice mail without identifying himself but said that he wanted to get 2 envelopes out to us but wanted us to call him back at this number to verify our email address!!! I never returned his call.”
