Leave a CommentI just got a call from this number they said they were from season federal credit union. they said to reacitvate my card i needed to press 1 or call 800-622-7600. i ***g up and called my bank to be sure my card was okay. they said it was and there is no interruption whatsover. i tried calling the 800 number and the 201 number and neither answered. i don't know how these people can sleep at night.
Received a call from this number, but did not recognize the area code so I did not answer. No message was left. Glad I didn't pick up after looking at all these posts!
Well, they are still at it. Called my cell phone claiming to be from Mobil Oil Federal Credit Union. Automated system, wanted my 16 digit debit card number so that they could take off the block. They also gave call back number of 1-800-245-9655. Looked it up, also a phishing line. Beware!!!
This number has been used to perpetrate a phishing scam claiming to to be a small community bank in Northeastern PA. Liquidity Solutions is NOT involved but their number is being used. Customer information has been obtained (from customers, not the bank) and transactions conducted. You DO realize THE BANK takes the hit for this...not the customer...
I also got a call from his number on my cell phone. I think it is frustrating that posts about this scammer goes back to just about one year ago and these sleezebags are still in business. Is there truly no way to stop them???
It claimed there was a problem with my bank card & wanted the numbers to reactivate it. I just ***g up
I received a call on my cell phone from this number saying that a block has been placed on my debit card and that I wouldn't be able to use my card. If I wanted to unblock it, I had to enter my account number. I ***g up.
called...did not leave message...I returned call company that answered reports that someone has stolen access to their number and is making calls & using them as a front. They are "investigating"
Got a call from this number and did not reach the phone in time to pick it up. No message left.
They said they were from the Washington Post.
I received the same type of call, from "Bank of America". The computer automated voice requested my SS# and my Credit Card # to "Reactivate" my account. They claimed it had been shut down for Security purposes. I don't bank at Bank of America, so I spent about 10 minutes putting fake numbers into their automated system. They eventually cut me off. When I called them back, it was Liquidity Solutions, Inc., and they seemed rather frustrated that this was happening to their phone number.

(201) 968-0007 is a phone number that belongs to our company, Liquidity Solutions, Inc., but we are a private business and have made no calls whatsoever requesting ATM, bank or debit card information. We have gotten a number of complaints about people receiving phone calls at various hours of the day and night requesting this kind of information, and though the calls may appear on your Caller ID as if they originate from our company, they do not. Based on our preliminary investigation, we think that the caller is engaging in the practice of “Caller ID s****ing” to display LSI’s phone number instead of its own, most likely in an effort to perpetrate some sort of a scam. We are working with our phone service provider and with local authorities to address the issue. In the meantime, we agree with the posts of others who have recommended never giving personal/banking information over the phone to someone purporting to call from your financial ins***ution.

DON'T FALL FOR THIS!W***ver these people are, they are not a financial ins***ution. Financial ins***utions NEVER call asking you for your account number or PIN... EVER! They already know everything about you, except your PIN.If you get a call like this for your ins***ution, especially after hours and from an automated system, **** up and call them when they are open.If you entered your information, call and have your card cancelled, IMMEDIATELY! You will get a new card. If you don't, you can lose your money.
