Got the same text message as described already about being approved for a mortgage.  Do you think our cell numbers are on some kind of list, or is this company just sending text messages to any cell number they can find?

Same as above. I replied to the text with "stop remove unsubscribe remove" because I read online that these texts are ma****e generated, and they read responses to find one of the above 4 words. I think each ma****e is different, and phoning instead of texting may or may not make a difference. Try this for those who have gotten this message. I have used those 4 words in order to remove myself from other spam text messages, and it has worked thus far.

I am on a do not call list and they texted me. Sending me texts costs me money! I do not appreciate this and do not have the time to deal with spam!!

got a text msg from ph# 1(201)988-8882 on 3/20/09 at 2:58pm re: mtg to call # 1-888-532-0177.. I called the number & left a message not to remove my # from their data base & call lists!!!

Calls and doesn't leave message & then I got a text from Allstate on mortgage rates. I am on DNC list and this needs to stop or they can s**** paying my bill. I have a very sick family member and must keep my phone on all the time and shouldn't be subject to this

Text spam saying approved for All State Mortgage Lender! 1-88-532-0177 All state dropped me for car insurance back when they tried to leave the state of NJ. If this is the type of business they are approving now. I don't think I want to do business with them!

Got a text message and says to call 1-877-644-6742, offer code 48777 as I am approved for a fixed rate mortgage.  Company is All State Mortgage Company.  This is my cell phone and I am definitely on the Do Not Call List - I just checked.

My sister and I both got one of those mortgage texts, the funny thing is that the only text message service that we bot subscribe to are alerts from Facebook.

I just got an unsolicited, spam text message from this number, that is from 201-988-8882 to my cell phone. It reads, and I quote, "You're approved! 5.39% APR FHA Fixed Rate Mortgage! 3.25% APR Equity Line! Call All State Mortgage Lender NOW: 1-877-644-6742 Approval Code: 5****7". And it listed 6 actual digits for that "approval code" but I don't want to give away personal information if that's what it is. This on 3/06 2:15p.
