Calls at least once a day, and never anyone there. (Anyone else find the irony in a Washington DC phone number with a 100% spammer score? LOL!)
Next time they call, I'm answering "Federal Bureau of Investigation, Midwest office, can I help you?"
Someone from this number has been calling me at least 3 times a day for the past 3 weeks. I answered once but did not accept the call after the girl mispronounced my name and there is no one in Washington D.C. that I know. They never leave a message. I would think if it was important they would leave a message. I am on a no call list. I resent these calls.
I went to http://shareco.us/contact-us/ and called the office associated with the area code I had been receiving calls from; the front desk girl told me that I could not be taken off the list without picking up the phone call and telling them. I was pretty miffed at this, because I keep missing the calls, and calling right back to no avail (calling them back just takes you to a message, and leaving your info and a request to be removed does nothing at all). The front desk girl transferred me to a manager, and he took my phone number and said he would request that their IT department just go ahead and remove me from the list.
I told them my husband does not live here any more. He said he will make a note of it and I told him that was a good idea................
Got a call from this number. They didn't leave a message and I didn't call back. Sounds like that was a good idea.
Caller left voice mail and stated that it was "John" from the shipping company to deliver a emergency call system (used the example "I've fallen and I can't get up") type of system.
This household already subscribes to an emergency call service so I know this is a SCAM directed to ELDERLY people! Let your family members and frends know about this group and this SCAM!
call them and harrass them until you're removed from their list
I called the Washington, DC office of Share Group (202) 234-3900, got a real person, and asked to be taken off their call lists. I hope it works.
PDR2 is "Share Group" (on the web at shareco.us), a Washington, DC-based firm that does telemarketing for non-profits including (but not limited to) public broadcasting. If you provide a telephone number when you donate to a cause, you're on Share Group's call list. I haven't figured out how to get off.
caller id says pdr2
This is why I love the internet! I can search for anything and find an answer! I have been getting calls from this number at all of hrs of the day and evening. I never pick up as I figure if it's important, someone will leave a message. Of course, there's never a message. Thanks for all the info. I will never donate over the phone again.
WHITE HOUSE SPIES MAYBE CIA , NOT SURE YET EXACTLY BUT OBVIOUS N W O GLOBALIST CONNECTION IT SEEMS . DOING A CHECK ON INFO PROVIDED. LOOKS LIKE DIRTY GOV H.L.S. [POSSIBLY) THESE CALLS ARE EXTREMELY ANNOYING SUGGESTED OPINION ONLY

Calls and when I answer, dead on the line.
Phones full of empty conversation. (Many calls, never speaks)
I just got a call from them and I told them I passed away last week. he said they will update their list. hope this stops the very annoying calls 3-4 times a day
Like all of previous posters, I keep getting calls with no one on the other end.

Calls everyday, and everyday I don't answer.

Mr. Schvimmer has a listed privated number in Brooklyn, NY, should you decide to give him a taste of his own medicine.
We have received, on the average, three or four calls per day on this number, and no live person on the other end. It is a nuisance, and the calls seem to be increasing.
Calls everyday, no message. Is ticking me off.
Received a few calls from this number over the past few days. No messages left. Comes up PDR2 on caller id. Annoying and harassing. Going to notify the authorities.
Caller: PDR2 comes up on caller id
The call almost every day, usually in morning and at dinner time. I don't answer.
If the formatting is lost on this message and it all runs together, you can read the original, which is much easier on the eye at 800notes.com or whocallsme.com
The same kind of unformatted text happened when I posted on numberinvestigator.com
I started getting calls from these a**holes recently, but not anymoe.
With my ViaTalk VOIP service, I just login to the control panel, find one of their calls in my call logs (which go all the way back to October 21, 2008) and click on Routing Options. There I can choose from any of these:
BUSY always gets a busy signal
BLOCKED "This number is blocked"
BLACKLISTED "This number is blacklisted"
STOPCALLING "This number is blacklisted. Please stop calling. You are not welcome here"
VOICEMAIL goes directly to voicemail & I have it set to just email the recording to me and discard the message
DISCONNECTED the 3 usual beep tones for a disconnected number, followed by "The number you have dialed is no longer in service. Please check the number and dial again"
FORWARD to any number I want, e.g. the FTC, FCC, any police department, a toll-free phone sex line
AUTHENTICATE - The caller will be prompted to enter a series of numbers to confirm that it is a real caller and not an automated dialing system.
and my favorite:
LONG RING - The new LONGRING option plays a ringing tone to the caller for an indefinite period of time (but never bothers me by ringing my phone) HELPS TO WASTE THEIR TIME!
I can also Route by Caller ID Name
This feature allows you to block incoming calls based on the Caller ID name received.
Any - Block a call with Pattern appearing in the caller ID anywhere.
Blocks: "Cell Phone NY", "George's Cell"
Exact - Block a call only if the exact Pattern appears in the Caller ID.
Ex: Cell Phone
Blocks: "Cell Phone NY", "Mom's Cell Phone"
Does not block: "Cellular Phone", "Cell NY", "Cell NY Phone"
and I can Block Invalid Callers
Block Numbers That Start With 0
Block any incoming call with a telephone number starting with 0.
Block Invalid US Number
If your caller's telephone number is less than 10 digits and is not a valid US phone number (IE: 45678, 1-111-111-1111, 51, etc.) the call will be blocked if this feature is active. Be aware that this will prevent all international callers (excluding Canada) from calling you if you have this feature active.
Anonymous Call Routing has all of these options:
LongRing: plays a ringing tone to the caller for an indefinite period of time.
Authenticate: The caller will be prompted to enter a series of numbers to confirm that it is a real caller and not an automated dialing system.
Voicemail: The caller will be sent directly to your voicemail.
Busy: The caller will hear a busy signal.
Blocked: The caller will hear a recording informing them they are blocked.
Long Ring: The caller will hear a ringing tone indefinitely.
Disabled: Anonymous calls are not restricted at all.
I think I can override some Anonymous Call Routing by using the Caller ID Pattern Matching rules mentioned above for calls that specifically say "Private", "Unknown", "Not Available", etc., but I'm not sure; I haven't tested that recently, nor asked ViaTalk about it.
I can also have all non-blocked calls ring my wireless at the same time as my landline, in case an important call comes in and I'm not at home, This also prevents burglars from casing my home by calling just to see if anyone answers. If I want, I can specify SIMULRING for only calls from certain numbers.
If I don't want to hear from anyone, I can turn on "Do Not Disturb" either manually or pre-scheduled for certain hours of the day.
As you might have guessed, I love the features offered by ViaTalk.
Caller ID: PDR2
Caller: Professional fundraiser calling on behalf of various non-profits (avoid them).
Last year we donated to our local public television station (WTTW) and the caller asked for us by name, mentioned the amount and month of last year's donation, and insisted on getting another donation before WTTW's fiscal year was over. He started out with a suggestion of $100 (we don't have any money). Reading from a series of scripts, he then went down in increments of $25 all the way down to $25. It doesn't matter. We still don't have any money to donate to any non-profit, no matter how worthy. I was patient with him but told him multiple times and in no uncertain terms that we have no money to give. Period. He repeatedly implied that all programming on WTTW would cease because I wouldn't donate -- which was quite comical.
Now that I know that this is an outside organization soliciting on behalf of WTTW and other non-profits, I am furious because you KNOW that those solicitors always take a piece of the action. The Share Group, Inc. seems to be the solicitor behind these calls and some people suspect they take 50% (or more) of the money you donate to whatever non-profit they're calling about. Wow.
What can you do? Give DIRECTLY to non-profit organizations that you research and choose. Do not go through these professional fundraisers. Add them to your phone's address book under DO NOT ANSWER or block the number if you can. If you tell them to stop calling you, make a note of the day/time of that request. If they call back after that, they are violating your request and can be reported to www.donotcall.gov.
P.S. I am furious at WTTW for giving these clowns my name, number, and donation history -- and I just wrote them a message to that effect telling them that I may never donate again because of this transgression.
The same as all the pthers have experienced.....classic spammers!!!!
2 calls. Left no message. Tried call back line trouble signal.???
Getting calls from this number a minimum of 3 times a day, every day. Never leave messages, and from what I've seen after looking the number up online, it is a total scam number. They will say they are calling for various charities, but they are a 3rd party NOT aligned with any specific charity. I am on the Do Not Call list yet still they continue to call constantly.
Spammer will not even leave a message, will not talk when answered.
non stop calls day and night
they call at least two or three times a week and sometimes twice a day. They never leave a message.
Says its a DC number, calls once a day, this time at 9 at night. Never leaves a message. Grrrr
Likely spam. Calls but does not leave a message.
Do Not Call exempted politics and charity. The Callers just changed their customers.
They call but do not leave a message on the voice mail. Likely spam.
Democratic National Committe
These people call approx. 7 times a day. I have them blocked but they still don't get it and keep calling. I don't do business with them so they need to stop calling accoding to the "do not cal" list.
Calls every evening. No message. Been going on almost a week. This Eric Schvimmer guy has website www.schvimmer.net. Says it's a technology consulting company. Riiiiiiight....
REC'D CALLS EVERY 5 MINS FOR A HALF HOUR. WHY DOES DO NOT CALL LIST CONTINUE TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN?
constant calls, no matter who answers, they hang up. just got one at 9:20 this evening. also that pdr2 or something like that.
Got another call. I am form DC but did not recognize the number. Answered it...no reply. Just a hang up. We are now in SC so it has to be a telemarketer.
No one on line when call answered.
Lots of calls. No mssgs.
received calls no messages
2 calls thus far. no message. rather odd. got friends in dc, but i don't recognize #, nor know why EMS, or whomever, would be so rude to call & not leave msg. last call came at night, after 10 DC time. smells too funny for my liking
they said they are from UNICEF ... but sounded fake. They had some details about me including my address.
caller ID says PDR2. Hangs up. getting very common.
Caller ID shows PDR2, don't know who this is, they don't leave a message. They have called 4 - 6 times in the past two weeks. Probably a telemarketer, and very annoying.
Rang us up this morning. CID shows Washington DC. Did not leave a msg.
No message left this evening; Caller ID showed PDR2. Tried an Internet search, but didn't find much interesting or helpful.
This number belongs to the following company:EMS Consulting.1738 Q Street NW.Washington, DC 20009 Phone: 703 201-7045 Email: [email protected] owner's name is Eric Schvimmer.
Got a call from this number. The caller did not leave any message.
Also rec'd my first ( and hopefully only) call from this number...no message left.
got a call yesterday, no message. caller ID was PDR2.
