Calls at least once a day, and never anyone there. (Anyone else find the irony in a Washington DC phone number with a 100% spammer score? LOL!) Next time they call, I'm answering "Federal Bureau of Investigation, Midwest office, can I help you?"

Someone from this number has been calling me at least 3 times a day for the past 3 weeks. I answered once but did not accept the call after the girl mispronounced my name and there is no one in Washington D.C. that I know. They never leave a message. I would think if it was important they would leave a message. I am on a no call list. I resent these calls.

I went to http://shareco.us/contact-us/ and called the office****ociated with the area code I had been receiving calls from; the front desk girl told me that I could not be taken off the list without picking up the phone call and telling them. I was pretty miffed at this, because I keep missing the calls, and calling right back to no avail (calling them back just takes you to a message, and leaving your info and a request to be removed does nothing at all). The front desk girl transferred me to a manager, and he took my phone number and said he would request that their IT department just go ahead and remove me from the list.

I told them my husband does not live here any more. He said he will make a note of it and I told him that was a good idea................

Got a call from this number. They didn't leave a message and I didn't call back. Sounds like that was a good idea.

Caller left voice mail and stated that it was "John" from the shipping company to deliver a emergency call system (used the example "I've fallen and I can't get up") type of system. This household already subscribes to an emergency call service so I know this is a SCAM directed to ELDERLY people! Let your family members and frends know about this group and this SCAM!

I called the Washington, DC office of Share Group (202) 234-3900, got a real person, and asked to be taken off their call lists. I hope it works.

PDR2 is "Share Group" (on the web at shareco.us), a Washington, DC-based firm that does telemarketing for non-profits including (but not limited to) public broadcasting. If you provide a telephone number when you donate to a cause, you're on Share Group's call list. I haven't figured out how to get off.

Caller ID: PDR2 Caller: Professional fundraiser calling on behalf of various non-profits (avoid them). Last year we donated to our local public television station (WTTW) and the caller asked for us by name, mentioned the amount and month of last year's donation, and insisted on getting another donation before WTTW's fiscal year was over. He s****ed out with a suggestion of $100 (we don't have any money). Reading from a series of scripts, he then went down in increments of $25 all the way down to $25. It doesn't matter. We still don't have any money to donate to any non-profit, no matter how worthy. I was patient with him but told him multiple times and in no uncertain terms that we have no money to give. Period. He repeatedly implied that all programming on WTTW would cease because I wouldn't donate -- which was quite comical. Now that I know that this is an outside organization soliciting on behalf of WTTW and other non-profits, I am furious because you KNOW that those solicitors always take a piece of the action. The Share Group, Inc. seems to be the solicitor behind these calls and some people suspect they take 50% (or more) of the money you donate to whatever non-profit they're calling about. Wow. What can you do? Give DIRECTLY to non-profit organizations that you research and choose. Do not go through these professional fundraisers. Add them to your phone's address book under DO NOT ANSWER or block the number if you can. If you tell them to stop calling you, make a note of the day/time of that request. If they call back after that, they are violating your request and can be reported to www.donotcall.gov. P.S. I am furious at WTTW for giving these clowns my name, number, and donation history -- and I just wrote them a message to that effect telling them that I may never donate a***n because of this transgression.

They will say they are calling for various charities, but they are a 3rd party NOT aligned with any specific charity. I am on the Do Not Call list yet still they continue to call constantly.
