100% SCAM 1st call appeared from Egypt (?) ***?! Didn't accept it. 2nd call-same phone # but w/area code 202. Foreign accent, didn't know my name, giving me $$ to help - blah blah.
I received the exact same call. When I asked for a number that I could call back to verify the legitimacy of the call, I was given a bogus number. The caller spoke in a Indian or Arabic voice and said his name was " Mike Thomas". Yeah right. When I asked him what my name was, he ***g up on me. Nice try scammers!
This phone number called me and was obviously a scam telling me I was to get $9000 from the U.S. Govt and asking for account information.
Said my name was selected for a government grant of $9000 that never had to be paid back. wanted personal information. I ***g up.
