They called when I was on another call so I redialed the number and a man picked up and said "Social Security Administration" which prompted me to **** up and look up the number. I see it is****ociated with other spam.

She said that her broker had some land in Maryland, and she wanted to know if I was interested in building a house. I googled the number and it looks like that this number is has some complaints registered with the Federal Trade Commission. One type of call was about Reducing your debt (credit cards, mortgage, student loans).

This person called and said her name was "Laura" but gave no organization name. She knew my phone number, last name, and at least part of my address. She thought I was the owner of the property, and when she learned my family member rented it, she concluded the call. I hope this was a misdirected marketing call and not an iden***y thief just confirming my information.
