Leave a CommentA woman called me, asking for me by my married name (which I haven't used in a long time since my divorce,) then ***g up. I thought it might have been a military call, since I used my married name in the Army, but to **** up on me? Geez... usually I'm the one who ****s up on spammers!

Called my cell - call originating from the "District of Columbia" - left no message.
A collection agency is calling for my son who does not live here. the number that shows up is 202-367-9083 which is not their number. How do I get this stopped?
This number rings the house several times a day in Ohio. Myhusband is disabled and we do not have credit card debts etc. WHY ARE THEY CALLING US?How do you get this stopped?
I happened to do a reverse look up on 202-367-9083, and found that it is a VERIZON MOBILE PHONE NUMBER, out of Washington DC. Now, if it's a collector, why are they using their personal phone? Secondly, according to the information I gathered through a certain source, it shows the number originates from what seems to be 'downtown' Washington DC, on a side street. It doesn't make sense, at all, especially once you factor in the "can't leave a message" and the subject stating "this is important business." I also received a number of calls from this individual. I returned the question, asking who THEY were, and was disconnected. Repeatedly. They continue to call, and I will be contacting them through mail, since they don't seem to understand plain English, or the word "litigation." I would recommend not disclosing personal information to them, whomever they say they are.
They called my parents house looking for my husband, who has never lived there or used their number for anything. They called 6-8 times per day and when my mother finally called the number back they told her (very rudely) "***ody has ever called you from this number" and then ***g up on her - even though she has it on caller ID!
