Same here fake IRS call. This is why the elderly get taken for so much money. There has to be a way to stop people from doing **** like this. Really s****ing to hate what this world has become.

Same here. This most definitely has to be a scam. There is no way IRS would notify by phone of legal action. I must be in writing. Thought about calling back just to see what they ask but not going to even bother. I am sure it is someone trying to get SSN's and other personal information to access credit info. Hopefully no one actually gives them personal information.

Received a call and voice message with automated voice notifying me that they are IRS and filing a lawsuit a***nst me, I called the number and it's a total scam, they are trying to get your personal info - BEWARE!

IRS message states a lawsuit a***nst me, which was very odd........would have thought they would find other means to contact me and also go through my accountant who actually did the tax submission.
