I just received a call telling me I needed to purchase a 250$ prepaid registration card before I could claim my $9000 grant oh and they said this grant was refund money from all the taxes I've paid in throughout the years. I think this is ******** and a scam

They called my daughter telling her she qualified for federal grants to college...wanting personal information (bank account number; social security ). Be careful...as far as I know ; you need to apply for these grants...which she did not do being she's on a full athletic scholarship right now ....
