They called from wash. Dc and answering ma****e answered. I heard a womsns voice say*****o and then **** up.I am onthe no call list two times now and will sign up a***n.thanks for this program it helps.

There is a slight chance the Gov. (i.e. "Big Brother")- CIA,NSA, HOMELAND SECURITY, and other such en***ies may be responsible for this: or the phone co.; likely that if it's so, they may be testing the viability of certain comm. platforms. we may never know.........

Just got a call from 202-459-9010 but I did not pick up the call and there was no message but it was right after I ***g up from registering a new expiration date on a credit card.  The caller had no access to my credit history but was anxious to sell me monthly ID theft coverage for my card.  This makes me wonder if they are tied to other telemarketers or sell info to them.  I am on the National No Call List and limit marketing calls from credit card companies also.  The next call I get from this number goes to the FTC registry!  It is time the Feds put a stop to all these nuisance calls, charity or not.  They can't prove it over the phone!

It's 1st time they called and I *69 the number because they said they were a division of Law & Justice.... They asked for me by name and this is a business but I am not the owner or employed here..... HMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

Just did a return call to the above number and it said it was some sherrif dept. but in a very low tone.  Not conducive for any law enforement dept. not to mention I do not know any law enforment agency whom have a message recorder.  Seriously someone do so****ing about this harassment!

These people are a bunch of idiots. I filled out their contact form, when I submitted it it refused claiming I used offensive words. Turns out they didn't like the words: harassment, x (for those required fields I didn't want to fill out) and s***.They don't like those words yet they have no problem harassing people by constantly calling and ****ing up.

Followed Laura's advice from 23 Mar 2009.  Called the number back, waited a few seconds after the intial message and was then invited to press 1 to have my number removed.  It said it was removed but could take "up to 30 days to process".  The 30 days processing time is ******, but at least my number (hopefully) will be removed.The company identified itself as "Donor Care, calling on behalf of the ALCJ".

this # called me today. I called it back and an automated system removed my # from the list.

I am on the Do Not Call list and also have a message on my ma****e saying : "if you are a telemarketer, please take me off your list".  Yet, I am getting called by this number.

REPEATED CALLING   I AM ON NO CALL LIST

I got a call from this number the other day and I told them to take our name off the list and not to call us back. They're a good cause and all, but still. My mom used to give to places like this as she is a good conservative and a good christian. She used to be involved in political campaigns. It's how my parents met.  The problem is, once you get involved in stuff like this, you get on all these lists, each place gives your number to other places, and it gets impossible to get them to stop calling you. If you don't stand up to them, they'll keep on calling you until long after you're dead. I don't take pleasure in being rude to these people or anything, but it's sometimes the only way to get your point across. This number is the American Center for Law and Justice.

I keep getting all kinds of calls from mysterious numbers and I report them all since I'm on the do-not-call list. Many say they're from Credit Card Services. Never done business with them in my life and when you tell them not to call they get rude! What are the Feds doing--just sitting on their lazy a**!

The ACLJ would be calling me because I filled out a form and a question.I don't want to be speaking for them but I suspect that if you do not want them to call you, let them know. Someone has given them your number and you need to have it removed if you don't want their calls.They would not leave a message as mostlikely they do not ask for funds until they confirm the name and number they have been given (on-line for example) actually go together.Their contact webpage is https://www.aclj.org/Contact/  and their toll-free is 1-800-296-4529. Just send them a message to remove your number from their donor group call list.

I've received a couple calls from this number in the last week.

I am on the "Do Not Call List" also, and I keep getting the call from this number.  When I look it up, it is located in Washington, DC.  I have filed a complaint with National Do Not Call Registry.
