Leave a CommentA woman who identified herself as T**** Jones told me that I was selected to receive a government grant through the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services. She said that the grant would arrive by Monday at the Western Union I select although I should first call 202-470-6714, a government office located in Washington, D.C. Have I the right to investigate the true cause for this call? I have learned to investigate such phone calls, and I must avoid scams that were inundating me three-five years ago, scams I have prevented since then until now.
