ask to hold on. a person will be with you soon. it's a recording.
This number called about taking a survey to win something. probably a cruise. probably a scam.
I wouldn't know, I'm privy to scamsters, or I should say callers from area codes 3,000 miles away where I know not a sole. I just click 'ignore' on my cell. And this is what caller ID is for. If you don't recognize the area code - DON'T ANSWER! F-'EM! If it's so important, they'll send their speil in writing. In fact, that's a good line to use should you accidentally answer and it's not a recorded pitch. Just say, I don't discuss unsolicited business unless it's in writing. Then hang up. If they were legit, like a credit collection agency, they'd already have your address. And if all they have is a phone number - they're assuredly scamsters with only that thread of a connection to you.
recorded voice about me winning a Cruise.
