Came up as "Service Message". Have called twice in the last three days - I don't answer if I don't know them, and if they don't leave a message I figure it's telemarketers. I tried calling the # back, but it's continually busy. I don't know how they get my number - it's unlisted & non-published and I'm on the national Do Not Call list... which I'm sure scammers don't pay any attention to anyway, right?? They disconnect before we could answer anyway, and/or there is no one on the other line. Yes, totally bogus, as I believe they are "testing" to find good working numbers so they can sell to other telemarketers. S***bags.

On the second call today the ID came across as "service message." Completely deceptive practice. If it is a cancer organization they should be ashamed of themselves for preying on people.

Caller ID is AICR. Don;t know who they are and dont care do. They are annoying and a pain. I dont answer unknown, unavailable or 800 numbers. They should be stopped from doing this How come there is "0" compalints to FTC showing on this page?

This number has called many times. I don't answere when id says private, unknown or it's an unfamiluar number. Very annoying to be bothered by their ******ity.

Caller ID "Out of Area" with this phone number. Call several times a week. When I answer, there is no one there. When voice mail picks up, they leave no message. UGH!

This call came through at 7:40 p.m. I did not answer it because AICR and the phone number meant nothing to me. It's amazing what the telemarketers will go through to bother us!

Call my number about 3 times a week, caller ID just shows Washington DC.

Constantly calls - relentless - AICR is American Ins***ute for Cancer Research - and right now I wouldnt give them a nickel as they are cahoots with big pharmas - may they get what they deserve! Cancer!!!

They called at 216pm on 9/4/09 and did not leave a message. I called the number and a robot answered, "American Ins***ute for Cancer Research." Seems to be the same caller that J. Marshall complained about.

Calls day and night. American Ins***ute for Cancer Research (supposedly). Wants me to agree to send 15 letters to friends soliciting money for them. Despite telling them no, they call constantly. Someone please stop them.

Calls, a lot of recorded music in background, takes up almost all of recording ****e and doesn't ever say anything.

AICR from 202-495-7181. They call often and never leave message. However I stayed on line this time and a woman asked if I was Mrs B____. To which I then asked to be removed from their call list. She verified my number and said she would remove me from list. So try that next time instead of not answering.

Caller, I answered the call and no response, I stayed on the phone saying*****o and then waited for another response..Then I decided to stay quiet to see if anyone heard me, and then he just ****ed up on me. So I decided to call back and it was kinda funny because he tried to act like a recording. He Said this call was about a cancer research, and wanted to know if I was interested and if so to press 1. (Now If you know majority of the phone recordings have more then one option, if not then whats the point of having it right?) well this guy must of been waiting for me to press one because I didn't press one, I was waiting for the other options. Well he just stayed there quiet on the phone and ***g up. To be honest, I thought it was a relative or someone, not this idiot.

I registered with the Do Not Call registry and I still get calls like this 3 or 4 times a day. I'm tired of trekking to the phone for a solicitor.

Everyday at about 6:30 pm we get this phone call. It's very annoying.

AICR calls about every 4-5 days. tonight (8/24), 8/21 (twice), 8/15, 8/11 - these are just for the last 2 weeks. They call WAY early in the morning and sometimes pretty late at night. When I answer, I don't usually get a response, but I hear noise in the background. I WANT THEM TO STOP CALLING!

My caller ID showed 202.495.7181 and the logo "AICR." When I googled that logo, American Ins***ute for Cancer Research came up. The phone number on the site still had a 202 area code, but was otherwise different. If this is a reputable organization, would they use a s****ed number or is someone masquerading as them, maybe to solicit money?

They called twice and ***g up. I have a phn msg that states "If you're a Telemarketer, Dont Bother leaving a msg". So hopefully they'll get the msg. Meantime what good does it do to belong to the DNC listing if these telemarketers don't check?
