You can be removed from the list by calling ACLJ at 800-296-4529. It took me a grand total of about 60 seconds.

In the past couple of weeks, this group has s****ed to call me.  Occasionally, they ask for the person who previously had my phone number, in which case, I ask them to remove my phone number from the call list. Sometimes when I answer though, there's only silence - no one is on the other end, it's infuriating that they're wasting my time. Bottom line, it doesn't work to ask the caller to remove your number. You'll still receive calls, sometimes several per day. Thanks to the person on this bulletin board who listed the name of the group and phone number. I called and ask to be placed on their do not call list. The people who answered seemed familiar with the drill, so they must receive plenty of complaints. Hopefully their "do not call" works. Hopefully I won't be posting on here a week from now, looking for plan C.

We are constantly getting calls from this number showing ACLJ on caller ID. I figure if we do not pick up enough times they will give up. We are on the Do Not Call list for all the good it does us. It truly is an invasion of privacy when the political forum can trespass freely into your life.

This # keeps calling, I try to say stop calling and they **** up on me....

4-10 times a week, all hours of the day. Not sure who this really is, but it's pretty frustrating. I just finished filling an online complaint with the FCC.

THIS CALL COMES IN DAY OR NIGHT AND NO ONE IS THERE.

Received a call from this number 7/24/2008 at approx. 8:00PM PDT...It came up on the CID as Wash. DC 202-507-7331.  I called the number back and a recording came on stating they called me...LOL  anyway, it is a s****!

They keep calling ... s****ing at 8:30 AM and ending at 9:30 PM. I talked with a woman who asked for a person who does not live here anymore. I even told her the person was dead. That was two days ago and they are STILL calling. VERY ANNOYING, I don't care WHO they are. They are invading my privacy and my peace. Maggie in N. ******ia

They call every morning.  CID shows no name attached, only the number.  I do not pick it up, & invariably they will s**** talking to the ma****e, asking for my daughter.  It's obviously from a call center, as you can hear numerous other voices in the background.Now that I know who they are, & have no need to speak to them, tomorrow I will answer it & ask to be placed on their DO NOT CALL list.  After that, if they call back, I'm supposed to be able to collect $50.

I just received a call form this number and no one was there when I picked up.  I see from previous posts it is for the AClJ.  I firmly believe in the ACLJ and their vigilant work to save us from the liberals of this country!  If they wish to contact me, I welcome their calls.  If not for them, teh ACLU, (The Aging Communist's Leftover Union) would be making these United States of America a living*****.

Call them at 1-800-296-4529 and ask them to take you off their calling list, it's the american center for law and justice.

Received a call this morning from this number but didn't pick up... does anyone know if it is a collection agency?

Also rec'd a call from this number - and on a Sunday - very rude and annoying - tried to find out who was calling but they just disconnected as soon as I pick up.

The phone calls are coming from the American Center for Law and Justice.
