This company keeps calling me with ph #s slightly different.

BCR has been calling me since last year asking for Ross Williams. I kept and keep telling them that this is no longer Ross Williams ph number. I tried to explain to them that I have had this number for two years. This is no longer an AT&T number. I have asked them to STOP calling me several times.

Call numberback and get a busy signal, they don't leave msgs.

Jack,  you have an interesting name. I feel most debt collectors are s***.  This company BUREAU  OF  COLLECTION  RECOVERY  (BCR) 202 -  607 -  2744  will call very early on a Sa****ay or Sunday or both.  Don't we all appreciate being waken  up so early.  They will act like they are a government agency with Gestapo powers.

Keep getting several calls, several times a day, from this number.  I don't know who they are or who they are wanting.  Keep telling them the person they are asking for is not at this number, but they continue to call anyway.

Get 7 to 10 calls a day from this number its really aggravating.

I got a call from 2026072744 but did not pick up the phone, they left a message which said just this number whit female voice 888 714 2338.I dont care what they want , who are they, and i will never call them.

I just got a new phone from work 6 weeks ago, and this number has recently s****ed calling me.  2-3 times a day every day for the past week.  I haven't picked up because I don't want them to confirm that this is an active number.  I am hoping they will just stop calling after a while.  Very annoying.  Thanks for the other posts -- nice to confirm I'm not ignoring a legitimate caller.

Just received this call in a lecture, I rejected it and searched for its information online. What I can say is, I saw all these kinds of scams back in ****a. So.. don't trust it, and I am ready for their further call, as all their call may be used as evidence to sue them in the future if they really challenge me.So to other guys, do not trust it. I have enough experiences to identify these kinds of SCAMS!

Collection agency looking for my ex husband whoi is in prison and I read them the riot act because they were calling MY private cell phone number that has no relationship to him at all.  Told them they better take this number off their records.  Then they said I was liable for HIS bills being his wife.  I said guess what *****...NOT!

like everyone else they call numerous times a day wake e up as I work 3rd shift tried to stop the calls but my phone company cant do any thing with incoming calls. I like the suggestion from the person who added them to the phone book and used a silent short ringer. but It still keeps them in play and it is harassing.. I do not owe any one but my mortgage company and they have no problem with me... I will look up the FCC as it is bugging me to distraction some days....

Calls several times a day-all week, 7 days, but never leaves message on answering ma****e. I don't know if there is some law or so****ing but others like GE DO leave a message. It is very frustrating and annoying!Does anyone know if debt collectors are required to leave a message AND if the are supposed to call Monday thru Friday and only from 8AM to 9PM? I can not seem to get clarification on this. Also, if it is a business is it not REQUIRED that their name show up on caller ID? Curious to know these answers. TIA

these people keep calling me asking for my daughter who is in NH, I am in texas. they are so clueless that they have asked when a better time to call back was. i told them that i'm sorry but my arms are not long enough to reach to NH where i could just hand her the phone. so no matter how many time they call i cannot help. you would have thought that perhaps the light would have comeon in their dim little minds but no, they then asked for her husband, she isnt married, and i informed them as much. their reply? when would be a good time to call back to speak with him. my response? CLICK! i cant wait for them to call me tomorrow.

These idiots blew up my house phone from 800 in the morning untill 8 in the evening.. I called them back to see what they wanted.They said they had no record of my name or my house number being in their system but yet they still call about 12 times a day.The second time they called my mother answerd and told them i was not home they s****ed asking her questions, such as do you have a number i could reach her at, and when will she back.. She asked they to leave a msg and they said no and ***g up very quickly.I called back the next day a***n and they wanted to know my SSN and wanted to talk to my husband [Dont Have one] So i ***g up.

I do not get any information from these folks at all...they do not leave a message when I let it go to answering ma****e, neither do they talk when I answer.  This is VERY FRUSTRATING.  We get calls from this number at least once a week and sometimes many times in one day.

This number continues to call yet never leaves a voice mail as to who they are or what they want! I personally don't know anyone from this area code so I have no idea who they are!

They have been calling me for over 6 months,sometimes 6 times a day, asking for a guy named Robert(not my name). I asked who the company was and for an address so I can contact the company. I was ***g up on. Multiple times they play like they can't here me.

This company calls all day long. One time I answered and the man at the other end tried to tell me I was someone else,then threatened to put an at&t a bill bill for 719.00 on my credit. It is a collection agency. Don't answer. Sandy

This number calls me every day, about 5 times a day asking for Portia Frazier, and leaves a voicemail. I've answered and told them that this is not her, but they still keep calling. Its s****ing to get really annoying.

Calling regarding an AT&T account. This was an error made by at&t and acknawledged and credited by At&t. They said that they would contact BCR but i continue to get at least 10 calls a day from them and they stated that they will continue.

I was told by the caller that my verizon acct was past due and it was not. I called Verizon and they told me that it was a scam. BCR has called back twice and I have told them that I know they are a scam and they continue to call!

They ***g up when I asked who they were and what they wanted. I called them back and they ***g up a***n.

Bcr called to collect a debt fot the wrong person. Without a doubt the rudest and scarest person I have ever in my life delt with on the phone-and I'm 50!Screamed and laughed very strangely at me. Had to call back 3 times before I could get someone to talk to me.

They call 2 or 3 times a day - I'm never home, leaves no message - the one time that I was home and answered, they asked if I was Cassandra ....., I replied "yes" and they ***g up. Very strong Middle Eastern accent....it scares me.

I keep getting calls at 8:23 AM PDT ever day. The first time I answered the phone. The caller wanted to speak to someone, but there is no one here by that name. I informed the caller, but automatic calls are still coming each day.

This and similar #s call me every day asking for Micheal. I tell them every day that I am still not Micheal, yet they keep calling.

They Ask for Patrick. I have had this number for about 10yrs and my name is not patrick. they call every day most of the time it is a ma****e.

THIS COMPANY BCR insisted that I own money to Verizon. The first time they asked for my social security #, I told them I had no account with Verizon and refused to give my ss# I asked how they got my number and they stated from the white pages. I asked them for the account for Verizon. I called Verizon and the account does not exist and the customer services rep verified that I did not have an account with them. I told BCR not to call me a***n and they stated they will continue. Very Rude! I looked up 202-607-2744 and it is listed as a cell number. My caller ID also showed 866-364-93

Collecting for ATT for a person that has never been at our business number. They have said 12 times they will remove the number and the calls persist - three months later

This caller called several times a day on my kid's cell and always asks for "Lary." I spoke to the caller and told them few times already that this is a child cellphone and he got the wrong number please do not call this number a***n. However, they kept calling and calling. I already reported to the National Do Not Call List. Will see what happens.

I keep getting calls from this place, they are a debt collection company trying to contact Richard.  Richard may have had my phone number at one point, but 10 out of the last 10 calls I've let them know they are calling a bad number, and they obviously don't give a ****, cause they keep calling me.  I ask to be switched to a supervisor (who would hopefully speak AND understand the English language, and they s**** to give me a phone number to call.  I don't want to call a number, I want you to stop calling mine.  CLUELESS company with ZERO customer service, I'd be surprised if this company lasts long, even if I did owe them money I wouldn't be able to understand the loser on the other end well enough to figure it out.  Good luck dummies!

They keep calling to collect a non-existent debt. You need to send them a cease and desist letter by certified mail. Then, according to the Fair Debt Collection Protection Act, it is a $1000 fine if they keep calling you, which you can collect via small claims court.

I get at least one call per day, sometimes 2 or 3, from this number. I have asked them to stop calling my number at least 10 times yet they continue to call. Please help.

This number has called me over 50 times in the last 2 weeks. They ask to speak to "Tom" and when I tell them they have the wrong number, they confirm my cell phone number and ask if I know a "Tom" (can't understand the last name they request.) A person I do not know. I have requested to be removed from their call list several times (it is a different person calling each time.) They continue to call upwards of 5 times per day.

this caller calls me every day. the caller has a ****ese accent which I cannot understand very well. the caller asks for a name that I do not understand. the caller may call with other numbers but they are all very similar.
