I supposedly did something illegal. They are going to prosecute me if I dont call right away.

Caller stated in voicemail "Hi, this is Officer Ryan Smith calling you from the Department of Social Security Administration. The reason you have received this phone call from our department is to inform you that there is a legal enforcement action filed on your social security number for criminal activities. So when you get this message, kindly call us as soon as possible on our number that is 202-681-2906. I repeat 202-681-2906 before we begin with the legal proceedings. Thank you."

Called twice, left message as above (concerning criminal charge on social security number). I called back but received voicemail and told them "Call Me Back" with no name associated. This is definitely a scam You should report these calls to the Office of the Inspector General with Social Security Administration.

Called to tell me that they were from the Social Security Administration and that I have criminal activity associated with my social security number. They are going to take legal action if I don't call them back. The voice mail sounded like a bot and I reported them.
