It is a scam don''t buy into anything they say and don't send them any money deny any information they have about you and mention the police.

Received various voicemails from this so-called "American Law Division" about taking me to court, suspending my driver's license, and affecting my social-security number. They have indeed been made privy to information from payday advance companies that I have used long time ago. I suspect insider help or false-internet websites preying on consumers. Thankfully, I did not make any mention of my financial information. I asked to speak with another individual, as the man's accent on the phone was too difficult to make out, and was ***g up on. I called back immediately and was not greeted with a company greeting. I made them aware that I am onto their scheme and will report them immediately to the FBI. Their response: "What is your ****** American FBI going to do to me?" Then he disclosed he is calling from Nigeria and is not affected by my threats of American FBI. Shameful. I received a call at my office  from this number today and he said his name was Sean Thomas. He was looking for one of our employees regarding illegal immigration status. You can hardly understand anything they are saying. The employee in question is an american citizen. So****ing needs to be done to stop these scams.

its fraud.  please don't pay anything.  call your cell service and complain.   call the police if its too much.  they need to be stopped.

I have gotten the very same call. I called this number back asked them who i was speaking to and the name of their company and location. They refused to tell me their name and where ther company is located. I s****ed questioning him a***n for the name and he said Lawfirm of American Law. He has an heavy India accent. I could barely understand his English. I could tell he was reading from a script. I told him that there was no company that exist by that name and that I had reported him to the FTC and the FBI. He got mad and ***g up on me. I called him back and told him not to call my number a***n. He got mad and said that if I call a***n he will have me arrested. I told him to bring it on and i'm waiting. I will rip his ***** off for lying and scamming people out of their money. But he wont get me and ***g up on him. If you get a call from this number or unkown number and it's a foreigner. Dont fall for it. Tell them that you are reporting them to the FBI and the FTC.

I received a phone call from a gentleman named William Black who has called my job, and my cell phone stating for me to not ignore his call he has a thick indian accent and I can barely understand the phone number that he is calling from. I have tried returning his calls at 202 681 4261 and 202 681 2261 and the first one a recording states that this person is not available. The second one leaves a voicemail. A left a very harsh message advising that if he is located in DC that he please get someone else to leave his messages as no one can understand his return phone number and there is no voicemail greeting identifying his company that I believe I heard him say is American Law Division. I told him that if he needed to contact me that he do it in writing and left my email not my phone number. He states that he is taking me to court and that he has several complaints a***nst my social and name. Most collection agencies do not do this sounds like a scam!!!!!

I received this call today.  I received one before as well. It is a scam from what I unerstand of resear****g.  Nothing has ever happened, even if you call back you won't be able to understand a word they say.  This is all the information I have.

I received a several calls of my cell and work from a steve smith. Heavy foreign accent. Indian i believe. He said my account had been placed in his office and if i did not pay $457.66 today they were going to suspend my license and i would be took to court and someone would come to my home or job. Call on cell and work was unknown but call back number was 202 681 4261. Can they do this? I am worried and need advice.
