They called my mom and said that they were going to give her a free phone, she gave them our address and her phone number. Then a few weeks later they called saying they're suing her because she didnt accept the package/pay for shipping.

It was an email I received saying I purchased something for 518.00. I did not purchase anything and it said it was through Paypal (which I don't use.). I reported to to [email protected] Hopefully this gets resolved.
The man on the phone said he would help me get a refund back from a purchase that was never made by me to begin with.
The text said I made a $799 purchase. I did call the number but when I talked to him the purchase was for $1,299. I did confirm my name & number, information they had before it clicked this was fake.
Received an email saying I purchased a pistol from Nova Armory using Paypal. This is bogus.
Number listed on email for bogus order and bogus payment made through PayPal. Get this email 2-3 times daily, fills up my spam mail faster than any other junk or scam. Curious to find out where this number originated, I have not nor planned on calling, but am considering sending all my spam mail back to the originating address. The email being sent to is not associated with my PayPal account.

The phone number appeared on an unsolicited email reporting a sale that I did not make. The email purported to be from PayPay. This is not likely. My PayPal account DID NOT SHOW the transaction.
