This number tried to call my texting app on my laptop at least twice in the last month. I have no idea who this number belongs to.

We just received a phone call from this same phone number. My husband and I both picked up a phone so we were both on the line. The guy said his name was Derrick and asked to speak with Alan (our son). We told him Alan hasn't lived here for years. He said he was calling about their appointment on Sunday. We asked what company he was with. We couldn't understand the name as he had an accent. It sounded like "On-Star" or "Phone Star" or "**** Star". Not really sure. I asked him a***n later in the call and he said he wasn't with a business; he was calling from a hotel. There were other people talking in the background. He asked how old we were and I told him that didn't matter. He asked my husband if he was Alan and he said "no, my wife just told you Alan doesn't live here". He called my husband a liar. He then asked where Alan lived and I told him that if he supposedly had an appt. with Alan, he would probably have that information, as well as, Alan's correct phone number. He used swear words ("Get off the phone, b***h" and "What the f***"). My husband told me to just **** up, so we did. Since we don't have caller ID, my husband dialed *69 to get the phone number. My husband called the number and got a voice mail so he left a message that if he calls here a***n we are going to report his phone number to the police.
